- South Carolina Baseball and Clemson Baseball played in the first game of a 2 game rivalry series, as the originally scheduled game 1 was postponed due to weather.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

The S.C. relief pitcher Garrett Gainey was prancing around like a bantam rooster before his comb got trimmed. Hope that dude has nightmares of Andrew Ciufo's homer all season long. GO TIGERS!!

I spoke to one of them at the game today and dude straight up told me he had never done this before, nor had the rest of the crew. They were basically temp labor and he wouldn't talk about what happened to the actual crew.

For anyone who comes here to comment on the video/audio quality, the game was played at a minor league park in Columbia. They used the park’s amateur camera crew and Clemson’s radio broadcast as the audio. That’s why the camera work sucks and the announcers are biased towards Clemson lol
You can tell Gainey played Fortnite. Probably does the orange Julius before games.
Great game. The kid pitching for sc shouldn't be skipping and strutting around during a 4-4 tie in extra innings. Imo.

As a SC fan, Ciufo is insane. Wish the broadcast was good enough to at least fully appreciate the plays he was making. Would have loved to be able to watch him shut down our offense almost entirely
He made some great plays out there. The Carolina fans were calling out immediately when it was hit his way. I was thinking, damn, they know more about my team than me. It was a fun rowdy crowd. I love Clemson vs Carolina games in any sport. The half and half neutral site game was lit.

Damn it's like they asked for footage from people in the stands and then just pieced it all together..getting a headache from these bizarre angles and cuts lol..8:07 is my favorite, guy hits a bomb and we immediately cut to the runner on first, then back to the general area where the ball landed

Its such a shame the camera work was so bad because what an absolute banger of a game!
I spoke to one of the camera guys asking why there were no replays on the big screen during the reviews. Bro straight up told me they were temp labor and had NEVER done this before. Something happened with the real crew, but, he wouldn't speak on that. I'm pretty sure the umpire was also temp labor as it seemed he had never done that job before either. So many stupid stoppages that neither team asked for and he had a Schrodinger's strike zone.
Crazy game, and great job @wheels trying to salvage the absolute shitshow that was this broadcast. Yeah, it's not hosted at either school... but you would expect they put together something that looks better than some JV high school production for a big rivalry game like this.

Go Tigers! It was one hell of a game. My son and I were there. The Cocks had us sweating with that 9th inning comeback. After three extra innings of straight butterflies, that walk off was cathartic.
