You say that this car sits all day where Andy works I would like to see the results when you put an all weather car cover on the vehicle to see if that keeps the car cleaner with the car!cat!! I know it will not be fun for Andy but, I think that might make a difference as to how clean his car could be!! Thanks for this video!!!
I thought the same thing until we got the closer shot of the water slowly sheeting off.
You're not wrong, glass coatings and sealants are a double-edged sword and actually impair visibility in some conditions.
What conditions are they? (Presuming you’ve applied it correctly)

Ultra Glaco is one of my all time favourite glass coatings too!
I agree.Glaco has to be the best and it's reasonably priced.
Nice update Pan! EZ glass and Gforce both looking a bit abnormal at 2 weeks in this test even with heavy wiper use, interesting to see. We will keep an eye on this

What's the difference between your quartz glass and Silane glass coatings? In2detailing only have the quartz. Are they going to get the Silane version as well?

I have used Stoner invisible glass and Diamond Body glass with great success both lived up to their claims in Florida. I do like the Gyeon View EVO from your demonstration. Perhaps which ever one is on sale, you can't loose with any of these in my opinion. Thank you for all that you do Pan you are awesome and Andy is a fantastic brother to help you out.

I love ceramic updates! I sometimes see complaints about 2 week updates. This is why they are useful! A check to make sure all is well and sometimes it’s not. 2 weeks in and CarPro and Ethos taking hits. Interesting, thanks!

Wow. I figured that Gyeon would do well. I am poor, so last year through trial and error, I figured out how to make Rainx work... not just work, but I applied it sometime in the fall, and I still have hydrophobic properties right now even though there has been heavy use of windshield wipers through the winter. It took some time, but I discovered that resurfacing the glass with clay bars, prep spray, and then 6 or more applications of Rainx - and it just doesn't go away. And when you pair it with the Rainx washer fluid, this has been the best winter ever for windshield glass - ice and snow just melt away, and my wipers aren't eaten up.
Once you have a glass sealant or glass coating, you can’t live without them.
No surprise with the armor detail. Starting to become one of my favorite brands. Thank you, pan, and andy for the update!! 👊👍🏻🇨🇦

I can attest that the Gyeon has incredible durability. Still beads water after 2 years in Vancouver - so lots of rain and wiper use. It did cause loud wiper judder though with silicone wiper blades. As it wore off in the second year, the judder quieted down again. Did not try with regular rubber wiper blades. I’ll test that when I reapply in the Spring.
I really don’t like this “misting” effect on the coatings. Considering it’s for glass, where it should improve visibility, it seems like a double edged sword!
I think the idea is that regular splotchy sticky water on an uncoated surface isn't very easy to see through anyway, so having very fine 'mist' (of tight beading) is easier to see through and that as the water accumulates will evacuate rapidly. I think the use of a pressure washer is really 'exacerbating/enhancing' said issue. You'll still get that misting effect under certain real conditions, but I think it's less noticeable when its not a pressure washer putting out a certain type of spray lol.
Since my windshields been coated, I'd say it's been a better overall wet driving experience. Is it a game changer? I don't know, but you do end up with less of that 'dancing' water effect since the water tends to just run straight off the windshield. (Dancing as in, think, you go through a car wash and then the blowers at the end are trying to blow the water off and its just wiggling/waving back and forth being super stuck to the windshield and paint, instead of shooting off the paint/glass quickly).

Armour Glass Coating looks great. I use your Clean Ceramic Spray on my windshield and as a topper on my wife car since it still has some protection from Glassparency which is 3 years old.
That’s a great combo!
Would be interested to see you switch the coating locations on windshield. Put the inner ones on outside and see if they still perform the same

I also have Gyeon since 6 month and it is great, the only anoying thing is when you drive at night you got stripes behind the wipers wich is not ideal.

None of these gave wiper judder. But there are more factors to wiper judder than just the product. Proper prep of the glass, decontamination, wiper blades in good condition and wiper blades perpendicular to the glass (sometimes wiper arms get crooked).

Nice test Pan. I think from what I see on my phone , the ADS has some wiper abrasion that is visible even though it is still beading. Was the Gyeon abraded at all? I could really tell. I do have some ADS that is waiting for warmer temps. It’ll be interesting to see what they look like today since it’s getting close to 3 months..
Wouldn’t the CarPro be the best as it was the clearest rather than the worst performing here?
@@guitarist6494 the water is just sitting on the glass it’s not flying off if you where to drive with the glass wet all the other coating will take the water off before the carpro
does your 3 year coating work better then these on the windsheild?
Do these prevent ice from freezing to the windshield? Can you use in side mirrors too?
@@gryphon123456 actually the ice sticks better to glass when coating is used. And I wouldn't recommend doing it to mirrors, since the beads will stay there and you'll have bad visibility.
Ads you can get wet right away results are epic - I have ethos glass on the truck going on a year and it still performing very well

If anyone thinks the carpro is doing well you’ve obviously never used a glass coating. The only one that looks at any good at this point (I don’t use that one so not a fanboy of gyeon) is the Gyeon! The carpro will do nothing when driving at speed above say 40mph and that’s the whole point for me. I use Anglewax h2go and not having to use wipers when driving on the motorway is a game changer when it comes to visibility.
I used a different carpro glass ceramic coating earlier this year and was not happy with it. It wasnt gliss but flyby30
I'd like to see how they bead off at like 40-60mph. I use the griots glass sealant topped with wetcoat and never need my wipers literally
I had carper flyby forte on my car for almost 3 years and it did great, not sure what is going on with the Gforce here.
Yeah FlyBy Forte did well in my conditions in the past as well. I have spoken to a few people that have experienced sheeting with the new Gforce so maybe its formula is intended that way? Hard to say at this point. But I already see another viewer’s comment that said he experienced the same thing with Gforce.

Quick question, why isn’t glaco part of the lineup? I don’t think I watched the application video. But how does glaco stack up to these
I already did a durability test of the Soft99 Glaco Ultra and it’s still one of my favourite glass coatings. It easily lasts 10-12 months in my conditions.

Very informative update! If I was to buy one I would probably get ADS. I still have some Clean 8 left after using it on my FJ Cruiser. I may just end up using that on my other two cars windshields…2 coats. Did you have your costing on the side windows? Would be curious to know how it looks compared to these, but also understand why it’s not in the review 😀

I used Car Pro G force , it lasted about two months and the protection is completely gone. I will reapply it but I won’t purchase it again!
You’re not the first person to tell me this about their experience with Gforce so who knows what is up with the product. I would be interested in hearing CarPro’s thoughts.
I'm experiencing the same thing with Gforce.
Good to know. I have been discussing with a few people who also told me they experience sheeting more than beading. We’ll see if anything else affected its performance.
