I noticed at Riot Fest that most bands who wore casual clothes and just played were way better than the bands that got all dressed up and had a huge backdrop with the band name behind them as they danced like dorks, putting on a ridiculous show with intent to hype the band. No. Big no. The music should already do that for you. I couldn't give two shits about the way you look to a crowd, just play good music. Thank based Toh Kay, and thank you Streetlight.
