Hi guys! Been busy with some home upgrades and messing with the grandkids. This was a great video. Especially for newbies. Can’t really think of anything you missed. And gave me a couple of ideas of stuff to add to my own tool bag. Thanks!
Home upgrades are always fun haha. Been working on a kitchen for 18 months now - too busy messing with the camper! And grandkids are the best (so we have been told so far lol). Thanks for the watch - appreciate the support as always!
Hi Turtle! Sorry for the delay - been traveling! And thank you :). We luckily havent needed it yet but figure sooner or later lol. Hope you are having a great Memorial Day!
Another good video! A socket set is something I've been playing to add - I'll borrow your idea and just pack the essential sockets. I look forward to the video on simplifying camping! Each Fall we completely empty our camper and purge the things we don't need or use. This has helped us simplify our camping experiences!
OMGosh-!!! ❤ So informative!! Matt struggles constantly with moving tools back & forth between the garage & our "Luna". Would love to just put these two bags together for him as a gift!! Do you have a written list (that includes those tough-as-nails bags 😉) that those of us whose first language is not "tools" could take to the hardware store??? 🥹 (Pretty please?? And yes, realize that is a super huge ask... promise to buy you a breakfast burrito when you guys come to Montana!!)
I am going to start taking some stuff out of my tool box and consider putting some stuff in. I have lost 4 outside compartments, and have just the pass through now. Yes, it is quite large but could get pretty ugly without some serious organizing strategies. Those velcro straps are top of my list! Great to see Desi, such a sweetheart!
Desi says hi! And yes - having only one storage compartment does make it a bit harder to organize. We loved our old Class C as it had multiple outside compartments which just made it easier to store things by purpose.
Super helpful! Picking up our 24 Geo Pro G19FBS Saturday and we have been loving your videos! What weight distribution hitch do you guys use? (Or have used and liked)
You can slim your sockets down by one more, as 19mm and 3/4 are basically the same size. Variations in chrome plating are greater than the 0.002" size difference between the 2!
Thanks :). Our packing had gotten out of control lol. It was nice to slim down. We left this am for a trip and was so much easier to pack the truck! Hope you are doing well!
Haha! (Its Linda). As Troy would say - Those are not tools - those are toys. I do love Ikea but would have to agree with him on this one lol. Thanks for the watch as always.
Get the drill and light that use the same batteries. Only one charger Using channel locks on nuts and bolts?! 🤦🏻♂️it was at this point I stopped watching.
Both the 12v and 20v use the same charger so luckily no extra charger. And we do cover the sockets we bring later in the video. Thanks for the comment!
Loved this video! I’m exactly at the point where I’m putting together my needed tools for my new camper. Great tool list 👍
Glad to hear it was helpful! Hope it makes those trips a bit easier! Thanks for the watch!

Great list of thing you might need. Glad you showed me where that manual awning lug is located.

Sorry for the late response - on the road this month! And yes - we try and do the same with purging! So much accumulates that we never end up using!
I have the Wrap-it Strap with the handle. Love them. 🙂
They are great - use them every trip and they work just as well as the first time!
A folding shovel is called an E-tool (Entrenching tool)in the Army.
Good to know!

It made a great stocking stuffer 😆

Sorry for the late response - on the road this month :). Thank you for the tip - a few ounces saved!
I keep a 4' piece of plex pipe in blue and red just in case.
Sorry for the late response - on the road this month. And yes - excellent idea! We forgot to mention but do carry a few pieces as well.
Nice video! I have a Smorgasbord tool bag. 🧰 I just buy tools and stick them in the bag. 🤦♂️ Next camping trip, I will inventory it. 📝

I'm very surprised there was nothing from Ikea!
