Nice work to be honest....but for me as an afrobeat producer I prefer starting up with different percussion style so as to get a perfect bounce. I think afrobeat is all about percs and bounce... The perfect chord progression comes in the middle of the production process but beat you got there... 🔥 🔥

That’s true afrobeats is about bounce. But don’t you think we can still find the same bounce after creating the melodies? I think 💭 some of us like to start with the drums and others with melodies. Both works
