    The water pressure from plumbing line must be enough for small service no?

    What happen to the water filter? between the water line and the pump you need a water filter. Clean water=good espresso.

      You're quite right, water treatment is critical for the life of your espresso machine and the flavor of your coffee. In this case, the water line in use was connected to a reverse osmosis system located elsewhere. We highly recommend testing your water before completing an installation, and treating to the specs offered by the manufacturer.

Any help would tremendously be appreciated. Thank you in advance, what I see in this video looks great and what I am looking for. Thank you!! Dave

    I’m planning to build a coffee cart where I can put my espresso machine and 2 grinder, I’m not sure what exactly do I need to be able to work when I’m going to plug my cart to an outdoor event with AC power outlet.. any suggestion?

      @nachogonzalez01 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      do you mean you will be using the electricity provided by the building/place where you'll be working? Or do you want a generator to be able to work outside?

    Is this rotary vane pump or corbonated pump ?

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The pump featured in the video is a rotary vane pump made by Fluid-O-Tech.

    Is this Fluid O Tech pump a standard size one , the motor is XL obviously, what’s the gauge on top of the pump ?!

  • @pav2k

    Why is the pump outside the machine? I've always though that the pump is inside in these types of machines..

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That would depend on the machine. In commercial machines it is not uncommon to find the pumps are external, both for ease of installation and service, as well as to make more room inside the machine itself for boilers and the hydraulic system. With large water demands, the pumps can be rather big, so placing them outside the machine makes it easier to fit everything else inside. It also helps cut down on noise, as you're able to place the pump below the counter in a cabinet and mostly out of earshot of your customers.

      Water pump outside is for the filtered water so it goes to the machine without issues... I will install water pump under my coffee cart.

    I think there are also requirements with some machines on who does the installation or it could void a warranty.

    Don't forget to mention, all coffee machines require some level of backflow prevention. Local code would determine the exact spec, but Watts 9D is a great choice.

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not in the video, but it's there, we promise! The install location we used had a reverse osmosis system in a utility closet nearby, so the water was well-treated before getting to the machine.
