State sponsored propaganda is starting to lose its power

@JohnnyRingworm No but the State and Trump’s constant lies certainly got muddled when he was president. Propaganda really took hold in America when right wing Australian extremist and all round dirt bag Rupert Murdoch decided to move to the US and set up his propaganda mouthpiece that it pleased him to call a news organisation, which ended up being a major success among America’s vast horde of gullible bigots and religious nuts.
But all news outlets except NPR, which is underfunded by the government and therefore heavily relies on the members of the public that view it, are generally run by extremely wealthy individuals and corporate giants, who, while being far from completely objective and a little too obsessed with what they like to refer to as ‘balanced’ reporting do at least try to report on events grounded in some kind of reality.
Mehdi Hassan is one of the few TV journalists who has the courage to speak the truth and report reputable data from reputable sources. And when he hears BS he calls out the people trying to spread it. That’s what a good journalist should do.

And there are many more facts that should tell you the economy is heading in the right direction, Jobs being foremost. And real wages, both are up. GDP is up. The dollar is stable. Inflation is down significantly. Just over 3% which is the historic norm. Trump is the only one term President to lose jobs during his term since the Great Depression of the 1920’s-30’s. He did nothing but create more national debt that anyone before him.

It's not just in America, it's like this in many countries all over the world right now.
The problem is the rich are getting richer and the rest of us are all beginning to fall into one class who struggle to pay bills etc and have nothing extra to save for a better quality of life.
So many companies are declaring massive profits esp energy suppliers, large food retailers, banks and many others. All this while the rest of us struggle to pay the bills that are generating these massive increase in profits. Wholesale food and energy prices have dropped dramatically in the past 10 to 12 months yet they don't pass these savings onto us which means record profits for them.
Put the blame where it belongs on corporate greed that took advantage of the pandemic and continue with their evil ways

Of course you ignore the truth and make excuses for Biden’s great economic numbers. We had over 8 million unemployed people when Biden took office. Now down to under 4 million. Biden hit the lowest unemployment rate since the 1970’s. How do you excuse that fact? Lower than Trump ever achieved. More manufacturing jobs than Trump ever achieved. Better wages than under Trump. Inflation was caused by Trumps reckless spending with big tax cuts benefitting the wealthy and mishandling of Covid which cost him the election. The government printing presses were working overtime to print cash to pay the bills. Added more to the deficit than any one term President in history, period. Republicans had no problem lifting the debt ceiling 3 times under Trump. Republicans refused to raise the debt ceiling under Biden the first time it was needed. And Biden’s budget called for restoring the tax rates on the wealthy to pre Trump levels. They demanded that be removed. Are you wealthy? Do you make enough money to still itemize expenses on your tax returns? And I am not even going into Trumps crimes.
Everything this person has said has been debunked by numerous fact checkers including of all organizations, CNN.
But this is created by the republicans. Low wages not come from democrats. Low taxes for the rich as well.

Neighbors doing it for a living as taking his schooling to be an electrician.. then more hotel workers when laid off in the seasonal jobs but illegals living in 5 star hotels, meanwhile, army and navy football games can't get their hotel rooms that was booked year in advance, hotels are over charging which all rooms will need to get overhauled once out. Housing costs are up due to corporations buying up affordable housing, nothing to do with Biden! 😂😂😂😂 Gas prices are back at prepandemic levels because people are back driving around more after the pandemic. When demand for gas was low during the pandemic, it was because the demand for said gas was low again due to the pandemic. Nothing to do with Biden. Second, food prices are up due to greedy corporations' price gouging, again that has nothing to do with Biden. None of the things you listed have anything to do with Biden. Also, just a little common sense goes a long way.

They are not counted as unemployed. Biden killed thousands of jobs on the first day by shutting down construction of the pipeline and wall. In 2019, before 19, Trump also had the lowest unemployment rate, but I heavily doubt MSNBC would claim he's 2nd best.

If we went with Conservative Ideas, jobs would be lower. Ideally with Capitalism, Joblessness remains prevalant to keep stockpiles of disposable labor. Maximum profit off of low wage labor.

So explain gas prices, energy prices, grocery prices, housing prices, new vehicle prices, and all the other things we can’t afford today.
Who can't afford? Groceries are dropping as inflation drops, housing is increasing because we literally sat on our butts for 2yrs and we're now short on inventory, energy prices you can thank Trump's owner Putin. Same with food prices. The war in Ukraine disrupted the entire energy market, demand is still there, supply dropped. Ukraine was the 3rd largest grain supplier on the planet. Not only has Russia purposely attacked their ports to slow exporting, they've destroyed hundreds of thousands of tons of grain. Our problems all lead back to the Orange Indictment King.
At this point they can come down but since people have paid it that is now what the cost is. All because of the pursuit of infinite growth of corporations required under capitalism.

He forgot to mention rent is up, price of groceries is up, gas is up all things considered for average americans when inflation is insane as it is. The reason jobs are up is because is the average american has to work two to three of them just to get by. Recession isn't here because the real estate industry is prospering with foreign investors and hedge funds buying up property.

Inflation was below 3 percent when trump was in office and shortly after the 2020 election it skyrocketed to over 9% and has gone down to 6

Allowing people to go back to work after the government forces them to stay home is not adding jobs.

When Trump took office, it was 4.7%.
It was not higher during Trump.
@@terrymckenzie8786 Labor participation rate in January 2020 was 63.8. Today's labor participation rate is 62.8.
If unemployment is the same, but labor participation rate is less, that means 1% of the labor pool has stopped looking for work. That's usually indicative of frustration in not being able to find what they want.
This is a worse economy than under Trump.

Call the police and ask why should we tolerate transient wages or homeless wages in our city???

Ascribing economic numbers to the sitting president is a pretty weak argument (either way/either party).
But it makes more sense to the extent you can justify cause-effect. As indicated here, Biden and Democrats did specific things that SHOULD improve the economy. Trump and Republicans took credit while doing things that ultimately hurt the economy.

@@Atimatimukti ok, the first one. Job. unemployment at 3.4% . Well, lets take a look at that. According to the labor bureau , there are over 30 million jobs which are part time. Compared to 2019 when there were only 15 million. This means that people are working , yes, but only part time. Also, there are 52 million people who are not looking for work and are not counted with the statics for the unemployment of 3.4% . that would raise the unemployment to 6.7% of people who are unemployed at the moment.
So you have a very large amount of people who aren't working full time and being counted as employed and people who aren't working at all who aren't looking for work who are being aren't being counted at all.
Where as during the Trump term, the actual numbers were 3% and employers couldn't find workers, today we have an over abondance of people looking for full time work and better paying jobs.
This was only 1 of the many false/misleading statements that are being made in this video
