I flew down to FLA to see my boyfriend play hockey and visit.. bought tickets to go to Disney, and then when I got there HE GOT CALLED UP AND HAD TO LEAVE FOR TORONTO! I had to stay in Florida by myself LMAO. Let's just say although I was happy for him.. I was also very sad for me ahaha. I cried. And smiled. And cried. And cheered. But cried.
I work for Macy’s! A lot of locations are like that because Macy’s combined/bought out other department stores and they kept the second location in the mall to use for more space. I hope that makes sense! And congrats max!

Max currently plays for the reading royals which is the ECHL (east coast hockey league). And the ECHL is the tier below the ahl (american hockey league). And so in this video he is getting called up to play in the AHL. The AHL is the tier below the NHL (national hockey league). So in short best to worst is NHL-AHL-ECHL. I hope that made sense.
From my very basic knowledge, there’s the coast league (ECHL) and then the American League (AHL) and then the National league (NHL) and NHL teams have minor teams in each of those divisions! Injuries play a major part in people moving up divisions, and obviously if they are playing really well they will get called up! Idk about PTO haha but that’s all I know//
PTO is a professional tryout :) there are tiers to professional hockey- ECHL > AHL > NHL. During the season, guys who are playing well and can fill in for injuries or help a struggling team will get called up to the next level. So in Max’s case, he’s being called up from the ECHL Reading Royals to AHL Lehigh Valley Phantoms. It’s not a permanent “trade” and his main team will stay the Royals unless they sign him to a contact after PTO.
I’m a huge flyers fan and when I heard about so many of our players being out w injuries, I immediately wondered if max would get called up to the phantoms!! So exciting 💓

He should have someone create a legit Wikipedia page for him now that he's official on the team roster for a PTO. It links to the ability to create a page for him when you select his name. I think that means he's officially made it if he's listed on Wikipedia, haha! Congrats!
