      It is up to each country to decide if it's in its best interest to buy a particular commodity from a particular country. What's in the best interest of one particular country isn't necessarily in the best interest of another country. Some countries wage war for evil reasons and some countries wage war for noble reasons. You are trying to look at the situation as if it is a logic problem (such as: A is greater than B and B is greater than C, therefore A is greater than C), as if every country came from the same cookie cutter and are exactly the same in every significant way. Geo-politics is nothing like that.

My main point is that it is incorrect to imply that Adnani's statement that the U.S. shouldn't buy Uranium (or whatever) from Russia somehow logically implies that other countries shouldn't buy things from the U.S.

    For few companies like CCJ that can turn on production they need 50-55 dollars. For new supply/mines we need 80-90 per pound. Steady floor price. When financial players flood in it will fly surprisingly high.

    According to this thread on quora, Russia supplies 16% of 18% of the homes or roughly between 2.5% to 3% electricity power. SEE -> "Given 1 in 5 US homes are powered by Russian Uranium power according to the CEO of Uranium Corp, how can the US replace Russia as it's primary supplier of Uranium? Is it practically feasible? Does the US have it's own reserve for such purpose?"

    UK has granted licence for a new North Sea gas/oil field. They were already building a new nuclear power plant for 2026 completion but discoverd wind power is far cheaper! Coal plants are on standby. The natural gas grid is being upgraded to supply hydrogen boilers. 54% of UK energy right now (see GridWatch) is running on renewables and 19% on nuclear.

    The US energy sector at some point used 90% of Russian Uranium. Recently CIA uncovered that Nova Ziemia is now empty with no Uranium/Plutonium present in the previously stored equipment there. They found empty shells of ICBMs, but no Uranium. Maybe Russia already has a few nuclear weapons, as most nuclear fuel was sold by the Russian oligarch? Just asking a question...

    Tragic that this guy is peddling nuclear energy to achieve carbon neutrality when we should be going full throttle on renewables and on fusion research. Nuclear power plants take a very long time to build and decommission. For every nuclear power plant built we increase the risk of another fukushima or chernobyl and bear in mind both of those accidents occurred in developed nations.
