It was really really good. I was a bit confused at first why she didn’t change the gender of the song’s protagonist to female. It really works either way,. Listening again. Wow that’s very good.
When a drummer waits for almost half the video on a drumming channel to showcase her skill you know she is generous. I also enjoyed the prominence of the snare roll at about 5:18. Sina is not simply pounding out beats (though she is immaculately capable of that) she is a very skilled and collaborative musician!

I have been coming across some extremely talented musicians lately on TH-cam. Covers or not - it doesn't matter. It is all top notch. The covers are simply fantastic. I respect anyone who has talent in any field of endeavor. Music has been a big part of my life since I was a kid in the 60's. The 70's can't be beat for all-around great music in many genres. And the production values took off in this decade, as well. With the state of today's popular music being so poor, a classic rock guy wonders if there are any musicians out there who can play quality music. I knew there had to be good music out there. I would hear some occasionally. But I am hearing it more and more. Like the people on this video. Again - much respect. Keep it coming.

It is important to put effort and originality into it. Make a cover of a famous song does not mean winning easy, because if done badly, the comparison with the original would be merciless. The skill in making this cover is precisely being able to make a song full of originality that you listen to with interest without making you regret the original version. This is what only experienced and talented musicians can do.

Well done Sina, I am impressed. The story goes that Nick Mason of Pink Floyd could not drum this because of the difficult time signature changes and they got Jeff Porcaro to do this track. It was another tense brick in the situation when PF recorded The Wall album.

Yes, it was Porcaro on this track. This was the only track on the album where Mason wasn't on drums. The story goes that Mason found the constantly shifting time signatures difficult to learn within the tight recording schedule, so they called on Jeff.

Wow, what an amazing production. Next to the Who, Pink Floyd is my favorite group and this video displayed the intensity of the original in spades; brought tears to my eyes.
I'm not sure if I already commented on this (or maybe I just thought about it and didn't write anything yet). But if so, it bears commenting again... I only recently discovered this beautiful recording within the last 2 months, and I am still "new" to Sina's world... But I have listened to this track multiple times, and I can't stop going back. Pink Floyd is one of my all-time favorite bands, and this is one of favorite songs (from the Wall). I have heard multiple versions of this song (original studio album, The Wall movie version, live concert version , etc.); and this... wow... this is one of the best... right up there with Pink Floyd's recordings and in some ways (dare I say), better... Sorry Roger and David!!! I love the sweeping extended guitar solo (like the live version)!!! And the imagery is similar to the movie. I have just done some "critical listening" and Sina's drumming is so spot on, it's almost unbelievable... even the subtle ride cymbal and bell when the drums first come in. This is so magnificent, I can't say enough... I was inspired and I just posted an amateur vocal version of "Mother" on "Indaband" (which I learned about from Sina)... Obviously, my version is not to the level of this professional recording, but I just wanted to share how inspiring this music is, and how these recordings are actually making a difference in our lives. Myself and all of Sina's patreons and subscribers and fans absolutely adore the drum covers (with backing tracks), but this type of musical collaboration with othr brilliant musicians is just the best... Please make more of these for us!! I realize that these masterful productions cost money and time (which also equals money, as they say)... but we can find or raise the funds, as this is worth it!! Im not really a Pink Floyd fan at all i have Dark side of the Moon but i dont have The Wall. . I didn't enjoy the Pink Floyd concert that i attended at the NJ Meadowlands/Giants Stadium decades ago......But i have to tell you Ms. Doering, ms. Well done Sina, I am impressed. The story goes that Nick Mason of Pink Floyd could not drum this because of the difficult time signature changes and they got Jeff Porcaro to do this track. It was another tense brick in the situation when PF recorded The Wall album.

If I didn't know that this was a cover I would think it was your original work. Excellent production and honestly one of the best covers I have ever seen of any song. Way to go for taking such an iconic song and making it your own. Love the drums too as they really add to the overall vibe and feel of the this. Excellent job and kudos to you all.

Yes, it was Porcaro on this track. This was the only track on the album where Mason wasn't on drums. The story goes that Mason found the constantly shifting time signatures difficult to learn within the tight recording schedule, so they called on Jeff.
@@Prof_Jeff No shame in that. Jeff Porcaro was one of the greatest and most iconic session drummers of all time. The man could play on any song and make it look easy.

I'm not sure if I already commented on this (or maybe I just thought about it and didn't write anything yet). But if so, it bears commenting again...
I only recently discovered this beautiful recording within the last 2 months, and I am still "new" to Sina's world... But I have listened to this track multiple times, and I can't stop going back. Pink Floyd is one of my all-time favorite bands, and this is one of favorite songs (from the Wall). I have heard multiple versions of this song (original studio album, The Wall movie version, live concert version , etc.); and this... wow... this is one of the best... right up there with Pink Floyd's recordings and in some ways (dare I say), better... Sorry Roger and David!!! I love the sweeping extended guitar solo (like the live version)!!! And the imagery is similar to the movie. I have just done some "critical listening" and Sina's drumming is so spot on, it's almost unbelievable... even the subtle ride cymbal and bell when the drums first come in. This is so magnificent, I can't say enough...
I was inspired and I just posted an amateur vocal version of "Mother" on "Indaband" (which I learned about from Sina)... Obviously, my version is not to the level of this professional recording, but I just wanted to share how inspiring this music is, and how these recordings are actually making a difference in our lives.
Myself and all of Sina's patreons and subscribers and fans absolutely adore the drum covers (with backing tracks), but this type of musical collaboration with othr brilliant musicians is just the best... Please make more of these for us!! I realize that these masterful productions cost money and time (which also equals money, as they say)... but we can find or raise the funds, as this is worth it!!

Im not really a Pink Floyd fan at all i have Dark side of the Moon but i dont have The Wall. . I didn't enjoy the Pink Floyd concert that i attended at the NJ Meadowlands/Giants Stadium decades ago......But i have to tell you Ms. Doering, ms.
