- Remember about the Himalaya bag that I mentioned in my previous video? the one that got stained on one of the scales? Well, it turns out that the guy at the spa said that they are not confident in removing the stain completely. So I've decided to take the matter into my own hands and tried this DIY recipe, which, to my surprise, is actually working! Go see the full video to see the before and after yourself. Jamie is materialistic, but there is nothing wrong with loving aesthetically pleasing things at all like art. In my opinion she is a rare breed whom genuinely loves beautiful things and shares it with the world not to show off, but because it is a genuine interest. I enjoy her videos and find her refreshing, it is hard to display so much and at the same time be so candid with little pretence. Most importantly, she is relatable to her viewers as a person. ❤❤❤❤

@@timelyferry i have only made 3 comments on you tube, the Hermes’ bags from what i watch on you tube are apparently good investments, but my son and I are male and don’t wear handbags, i am interested in their sneakers, i do buy LV, Prada, Gucci, but scared to walk into an Hermes boutique!!!

Have been using a white eraser on bags for decades but not with baking soda on Exotic! Good thinking & I’m glad it was a quick fix in a sense! The Brands will never fix it, they just want money or you to buy a new bag. Disappointing on their behalf when it’s totally doable especially when other bag spas around the world can do it. What an amazing trick Jamie! Hermes Spa quoted me over $3k for repairs on my vintage Porosus Kelly , it’s still at the spa. I agreed to the repairs because I’m preparing it for sale. The Himalayans are too risky for Hermes to take responsibility for so I’m glad you found a solution. Congratulations 🎉

The variety of textures in the *yutulu* pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Love *yutulux* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other TH-camr can show off bags in as much detail as you.

Have you also considered using a 'smoke sponge' ? Its often used in art conservation.... along with a diluted lemon juice with cotton swabs..... ... but definitely the baking soda is ideal... as well as hydrogen peroxide on limited passes...

I have an electric dehumidifier at home that i move frequently room to room when humidity is 97%. An electric dehumidifier is a must for anyone living in hong kong. After hearing your tip, I'll dehumidify my clothes by opening my wardrobes and blowing my dehumidifier directly at each of them regularly.

I think magic eraser actually damages leather? She's using regular pencil eraser

Try making a paste out of the baking soda. Not too runny but dry enough where it just sits on the stain n leave it on just for several minutes not too long but long enough for the soda to lift any leftover pigment stain. Over rubbing dry baking soda with a pencil eraser might leave micro abrasions on the skin, therefore changing the hue.

Hi Jamie, you should really consider a fine arts restorator like Baumgartner restoration, he might be able to paint the spot back to the original color with conservation paints that easily can be removed with no damage if needed!!!!!!
I’ve done white eraser on my bags & it does remove denim stains but I had to be gentle & patient

You have to use a reptile specific cleaner to regularly clean and condition reptile leather. I learned this the hard way, too (with my python bag).
I have a Louie Vuitton duffel and there is a water spot (I'm guessing) on one of the light colored straps running down the front of the bag. Any idea what I can use to remove it?

This is one of the biggest problems of the leather bags or all luxury leather items. Since leather is a natural material it has a tendency to change its condition over time and also due to change in environment and frequency of usage. Therefore, imho it is very risky to buy this very expensive items unless you intend to use this regularly and will not care of its condition after using it later on.

Was lowkey expecting something like ketchup (or mustard?) stain same with what happened to Ms Heart leading her to paint her bag. Glad that the eraser have somehow heloed. Museum restoration artists actually use grated erasers to gently pick up dirt from art pieces too
How Did U Travel To Get Daddy Himalaya To The Spa, Did U Take A Plane, Was It Hard To Get Through Customs With Him ?
I used to use a white eraser to remove scuffs from my white leather shoes in middle school .

Hello Jamie. Did you try hydrogen peroxide? Hydrogen peroxide will help wash white skin from bright spots. Try on some small pice inside of bag.

I am just curious, how do you travel with these bags going through the immigration scan? we have to put it on the conveyor belt or the basket so i dont like to use them for travel
try taking their dustbag or put a coat underneath the bag. my sister did that with a white croc hermès and it completely worked.

It’s not rocket science. At school we all had to wear the uniform gym shoes that were white. To clean off the scuffs?, an eraser or bicarbonate of soda on a toothbrush.

Another natural remedy i can think of besides eraser is SALIVA. IT'S THE BEST. It always works for me, except for the fact that i don't have a crocodile skin bag. Who knows, slowly, it will be gone.😂
