I have taken the FANTASIA segment; the rite of spring, and removed the music. And afterward, i have added every single sound effect. I have scoured the internet for the correct sound for every single second of this 23 minute long video. This has taken 2/3s of a year to do. I got the idea from the Jurassic World Dominion Prologue, which featured little to no music, only sound effects. It really sold the idea that you had traveled back in time to before humans ever existed. It made me think of The Rite Of Spring, and began a long project to resound the entire segment. I hope you all enjoy watching it as i enjoyed making it.
Here is a link to all my The rite of spring edits, including a version with walking with dinosaurs music: th-cam.com/play/PL-BTXsA9uaWNoMCYRYnpymtV1npkf-svN.html

thank you for this vid, i always loved this segment of Fantasia, yes, the scientific data Disney used is really outdated and there's a lot of anachronisms but given they made this movie in the 40s, they weren't that far from what we'd expect to see with today's knowledge. Also, I imagine the common folks seeing these huge dinosaurs move on the silver screen for the very first time, it had to be very epic in itself!

The curious thing is that the Rite of Spring would be bigger and more detailed, featuring how the survivors of the Upper Cretaceous extinction would repopulate the Earth, showing the new species evolving. There would be a scene of North American mammoths, probably the steppe mammoth, and they would become aggressive towards smodons. This would also include species that are alive today, including us humans. Without. Infar several other details that would have, such as the African origin of our species, the formation of the world current, in the current geological period, in this case the Quaternary. But all of this was canceled and removed, because people were very prejudiced and had a certain disgust with the history of the Earth, the universe, of life etc...
Well, that still happens today, but people are apparently more tolerant nowadays.
If "The rite Of Spring" was more complete, what would it be like?
Well, the first part of the sequence would be the same, 0:01 here everything would be the same, Meanwhile we would see the formation of the Earth and the moon from afar, soon after that the rest would be exactly the same, but after a moment, we would begin to see the rains appear with force, creating puddles of water, rivers and lakes, and showing how the Moon looked in the sky at that time, having a time jump where the rest of the sequence would be the same, showing everyone those volcanoes and showing the water and everything, ending with the storm and everything submerged 5:06 . After that we would see the origin of life, with small molecules coming together randomly, and others in a specific way, due to chemical reactions, having several time jumps, until we see what appear to be the first living organisms. Then we see how they reproduce and spread,After that, we would see the formation of the first Earth masses, and small living organisms that carry out photosynthesis, spreading oxygen.

This video is GREAT and it seems to have matched up with the motions, movements, and other elements pretty damn well. There was another video that someone did like this, However it wasn't as perfect as this and some elements seemed off. I'd give that 1 a C average, while i'd give this video a high A. Thanks to whomever made this video.

You know, despite the entire segment being mirrored, you amazingly outdid yourself by adding dinosaur sound effects to this.
I've seen this at least 35 times already, often times listening to the Rite of Spring to go along with this, and I'm completely amazed and thrilled by all the details you did here.

Disney's own people have done similar stuff, adding foley and removing the music for elements of both Fantasia (primarily the Beethoven 6 and Dance of the Hours, with some Nutcracker) and Fantasia 2000 (Pines of Rome and Firebird) as part of their second season of Zenimation.
Your work here is pretty solid.

Movies back then were absolutely magical, in storytelling and scope. The beautiful scores were final icing on the cake 🎂. There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all be political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movies scores sounds very generic with "NO" heart or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion".
