I think you make a very interesting and relevant point! You may be right, but the only other thing worth considering is that Apple has a history cannabalizing its own products that has led to more, not less sales (the iPod is a great example - it makes sense now, but at the time people thought they were crazy!)

This is funny ! Windows already has 15+ hybrids, haha. Tim Cook is NOT Steve Jobs, he's more interested in making money than real innovation, Cook won't kill his own product line, rather he'll multiply 1 product into SE, plus, minus, pro, Pro XL etc.
