- Monday at 5 p.m., both a Tropical Storm Watch and Storm Surge Watch were issued for the Grand Strand ahead of Tropical Storm Debby.
The yellow shows the Tropical Storm Watch, which is issued 48 hours prior to the arrival of tropical storm-force winds.
Tropical Storm Warnings are in place for the rest of coastal South Carolina.
A Storm Surge Watch, in light purple, is now valid for the Grand Strand from Georgetown County, to Horry County, to southeastern North Carolina.

Thanks for the update on hurricane Debbie. Great answers to all questions. Keep up the good work at ABC.
Here in Savannah Georgia it has rained nonstop.
Watching from Swansboro, NC. Thank you for your great updates.
From Florida just below Tampa. About 6 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Just experienced Debbie. Relentless wind and rain bands for hours. I was up for hours last night through Monday mourning hrs mopping my porch near the door. Lots of rain and wind .Thought it would never go away. The last rain band was around roughly 7 pm Monday eve .Yes there is breaks in between rain bands but not to long of a break. Much Longer breaks towards the end. Get your garbage cans and lids secured. Bird seed and nuts for birds and squirrels.
We are already at or near the flood stage in a lot of river in Eastern NC.due to all the rain in the last week.Flood stage Lumber river is 13 ft its at 11.79 20 min ago and rising USGS ..River gage @ I-95 Lumber River Lumberton NC. The Tar river floods at between 19 and 30 it's at 19.45 so it's already flooding in places
Brian, good luck to you and yours! Stay safe!
@@freeheeler09Thank you I can't believe that they our not watching gages we have had a lot of rain for a week and today places were flooding after a 60 min storm
.
Good luck from Loris. We just moved to this part of the county from the Inlet - from the southern most to the northern most - so this is our first storm here. Oy. I remember all the storms he mentioned and then some.
Maybe she’ll wiggle and not sit on top of us or move away..? ❤

I despise hurricane season and it is way to freaking long 😭

Kids are supposed to be starting school tomorrow in mid SC. Wondering what they're going to do
Looks like South Carolina will be like Florida soon. Homeowner insurance will be unavailable or at least unaffordable. This is possibly the worst case scenario unfolding for the low country
It's already crazy as hell in Florida.. I'm just seeing where some people that live in condominiums in South Florida are going to get stuck with 2000 + a month in HOA fees.... There's a channel on TH-cam about Florida real estate if you want to check it out.. have a blessed day.
How come they just don’t say basically we do not know where it’s going. Just be prepared!
I’m watching from Savannah Georgia.
if our power grid was under ground it would never go out
Thanks for the update.👍
Got to experience Harvey. living in Katy Texas at the time. He'd all evacuation morning don't wait you should already be ready to evacuate. If you live downstream from a damn or a reservoir you very very mindful of what's going on with that dam or reservoir.. People in the mountains I hope you're prepared for what's coming. Valley flooding. Think way ahead about everything , Don't let the water Harm you.
Charleston is at high risk for flooding if it sprinkles...
What about St.Simons Island Ga ????🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴
Interesting that the only place in all 4 circles is Myrtle Beach.
If your on vacation leave tomorrow. It's going to be a mess
Hurricane Michael a Cat 5 Hit Florida ON OCT..10th 2018 ( WE REMEMBER)
