  • In less than two years, the second generation Repeater has come to fruition sporting an all-new frame, more travel, no more headset routed cables, and most importantly, SRAM's latest Powertrain e-bike system. We had the opportunity to sit down with Lars Sternberg from Transition Bikes to discuss the development process of the second-generation Repeater, their involvement with SRAM integrating the new e-system, and how they see a product like the Repeater PT being used out on the trail.

I just bought the grey repeater ,
Should have home this week 💯. Switching my hope v4 breaks over to it and putting reserve hd wheels with hydra hubs 👍. My first e-bike looking forward to some new adventures!

super cool to hear a big S company so keenly working with/hearing from the "smaller" bike brands :)

Looks good. Be great to try.
Perfect describing full power E-mtb as a different sport which it is. Don’t try and compare. It’s like describing the trails and roads i ride on my motorcycle are not always what i would choose on any bicycle

If there is no bridge on the main pivot rocker, I can guarantee you it will eat through trunion shocks like my Sentinel.

      Have you tried them !!!
What's not to like, you can go further for longer, climb stuff you have no chance on an analogue MTB & it's great fun !! Long adventures. !!!!

The difference between E bike only riders and Analog mountain bike riders is: if you took E bikes off the planet E bikers who only ride E bikes wouldn’t ride anymore.

That’s a ignorant thought if I ever heard one. The ignorance & hate is laughable. That’s like saying analog riders that shuttle their bikes are pu$$!€5. I prefer my Ebike so I can ride the gnarly downhill trails that you probably can’t ride. 20 minutes up on an Ebike for under 1 minute of downhill fun. What’s the problem with that?? Why the hate? Theirs roadies, XC, downhill & enduro riders with all different skill sets who all share the joy of riding out in nature on 2 wheels so grow up.

That's very narrow minded, just think when you started riding MTB, you liked it because it put a smile on your face ! E- MTB does the same but you can ride in eco ! Get a great workout, if you only have an hour or two you can have a blast, it's just great fun ! Give it a try, you might even shock
Yourself!! & have fun & fun is the bottom line. And lastly you can go further for longer & get up climbs that are impossible on an analogue MTB. It's a no brainer, but if you like riding your MTB and never give E- MTB a try then you are sure as eggs are eggs you are missing out on pure joy !!!
