Went today for the first time , beautiful, clean , friendly people, I’ve never had so many people saying morning to me in my life , sun was out , I would love to live there , I’m going back next weekend to see the steam trains .
Yes I'd say it is still a nice place to visit especially on a warm Sunday afternoon, not sure what its like on a bleak wintery Monday evening! Thanks for the comment
Enjoyed the walk around Bridgnorth Phil never looked around the gardens I was on a day trip and ended up in pub it's nice to see that it has not changed all the best Paul
Yes still as nice as ever, used to have a caravan at Quatford, and still have family living in the town, spent may happy hours walking around the town back in the 70's, still as nice as ever, roundabout 20 miles or so from West Bromwich, the white shop at 7:00 used to sell loads of Die-cast and other models and Steiff and other " Teddies ", not sur why it closed but used to love going in there to have a wak around... and yes my wife did buy a bear from there
Bridgnorth is a nice town, but not one of my favourite places. We live about 35 miles west of there but - sign of the times, we have to go there for a dentist! One of the problems with Bridgnorth is that it's always busy and parking is horrendous. Without wishing to be too disparaging, it suffers from its proximity to Wolverhampton - and has almost become an extension of it, with a few miles of green belt in between!
We used to park on Sainsburys Car Park, close to the town centre, Toilets in store, you had to pay a modest fee to park but in my opinion well worth it, just a short walk from the town centre

It’s a nice place to wander around on a weekend. It’s quite peaceful and relaxed, has a lovely vibe.

I moved from West Bromwich to Bridgnorth, it’s a lovely place to live, people are great and they take pride in their town

What a beautiful place , never been but will do next week when the weather gets better, no beggars or crack heads around
It's a nice place when the suns out.
I’m Bridgnorth born and bred, and I’m so glad I’ve moved away from that dump.

This was my first visit for a while and as you say parking was a bit of a nightmare. Many thanks

@@Outandaboutwithpoggy Sainsburys is a long way from my dentist, and the toilets often not open.
There is a Turkish Barbers on Postern Gate
Thanks for the info
Unfortunately it's not what it used to be, used to have some loverly shops, but mainly charity shops now
