Now that I don't have little ones around, I find the little cups of applesauce handy to replace all, or part of the oil in baking recipes. Don't have to open a big jar of applesauce that would go bad before we ate it all up. More healthy, too!
I'm glad there is alit since frugal Mommy felt so bad about spending money,it's not bad compared to Alaska everything is triple up here 🤣so my freezer is full of salmon,halibut and berries and herring eggs we do our own pickings I am going out to pick tea now😂good job frugal Daddy 🤗

The Never Any Apple and chicken sausage sliced up goes nicely with Aldi ravioli and tortellini, so does the spinach and feta chicken sausage. Drizzle with a little olive oil & spices, tossed some shredded Aldi cheese on top ….heaven on a plate!
I can't imagine how to put all this food up. The freezing, cooking, canning must be horrendous. Food is so exspensive now. FD deserves a few perks after all his work. Like some chips. Yum. X
Great shopping trip FD. Lots of vegetables, fruit, meat, rice etc. The combination pressure cooker/air fryer is an awesome find. You could use it instead of your cooker and save money on utilities 😀😀😀
I just spent over $200 in Aldi's today. Most of that was what my 23-year-old daughter wanted. (I hadn't helped her with groceries for a while.) I must say I am jealous of all you are finding. I think the whole town is shopping out of the local dumpster and we've been finding next to nothing.
Forgot mommy down here in Texas Mexican people use Barbacoa to make tacos they heated up and they put it on flour tortillas or corn tortillas and they eat it like a taco

Barbacoa is made from the cheek meat from beef and some put the tongue meat in. It's best done the old way of wrapping the whole cow heat and cooking it for 12 hours in a pit. That's an Instant Pot and you have to always use the inter pot, the basket and other racks fit inside it. The pressure lid also must have a silicone seal and is never used for canning.

Hello from Oregon, It's time to get the purple onions out and cut into four and place them around the home and in window seals. This has been a very old thing in our family to prevent our family from getting sick I can't keep it to use when so many need this also. I wish the schools did it. Never eat onion at a salad bar for it collects illnesses.
Great haul!! All that food and expensive appliance!! My husband and I tried in MO but across from the grocery store was the Sheriff's office then the Dollar General was catty corner. Quickly looked grabbed a few items on top and left. We are both short and elderly! LOL Enjoy while you can!

Amy that Black Angus chuck roast I got three of them one time by an Aldi by my house that was the best roast beef I ever ate in my life I got three no two of them I got in in all the dumpster I'm like that meat just melted in your mouth it was the best roast I've ever eaten my life was that exact roast beef and it's Frugal Daddy's birthday all over again he got a big bag of shrimp a bag of shrimp like that's 20 bucks or more the good good finds today
Chicken is the easiest to pressure can, just cut into chunks put lid and ring on(do not add any liquid) pressure can pints 75 minutes quarts 90 minutes then into the pantry.

Did you know you can pour the pineapple juice & the apple in your ice cube tray and freeze it for later use if you have freezer space just mark your freezer bag you store it in
Now your life has changed ! E-Pressure cookers are awesome you dial in your numbers make sure sealed and valves are closed. There's a online recipe for pasta sauce and spaghetti you put in all the ingredients set it and boom delicious I did that once. I was cooking a lot of beans but have been scoring so well in diving I just don't cook as much. Gotta cook as I get it. So no reason to cook huge batches of beans.
Love the haul but I really love the air fryer combo pressure pot. How exciting. FD has done it again. Price of meat is thru the roof. I buy so little. I could be a vegan if I choose. Veggies aren't cheap either. So. Moderation is the way I roll. Keep diving guys. And I'll keep watching well 👍 done ❤️

Gargle with warm water and vinegar. It loosens the crud and it comes up and out.
