I would love to have this job. But the problem I have is the schooling part. I have some learning complications and I tried doing online school for early child education but my mom had to practically take the course for me. During my high school years I have been through so many internships in daycares and elementary schools that I enjoyed. I’ve also been a patient in my childhood in hospitals. I think going through those experiences I could help children understand what it’s like to be in the hospital. I just got my CNA 1 certification. Like I said before I had a lot of help from my mom. As I was at school practicing for my exam one day, I mentioned that I might want to do this one day. One of the instructors told me they have tutors and I could contact them and figure out a plan. I think I just need like 3 and a half more years of early childhood education to get my bachelor’s degree for it. I think I might have to take like a math class and language arts class. I’m not quite sure. But if I do, luckily I know my college has tutors. So I’m trying to figure all of this out. What is the first thing I would need to know about going into this field?
Winner of a video, been searching for "why mentor a child" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Elilan Coachify Domination - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cousin got cool success with it.
Hola! Gracias for this video! It gives me hope. As a child, I endured multiple surgeries due to an eye condition without Child life intervention. As a result, I'm now on a journey of medical trauma recovery as an adult. As part of my journey, I'm writing a fictional book about Child life. I would love to interview Becca if she's up for it.
This was a Phenomenal Description of what a Child Life Special is!! I’m getting ready to study to become a Child Life Specialist😍❤️ I love kids!
