When Utley, Rollins and Shane came back, I got emotional, these guys alongside Howard, Ruiz, Ibanez, Hamels, Madson, Blanton, Lidge, Lee, Oswalt and Halladay were my childhood
This kinda got me sad how they did so much for their team but when they have to get traded they get sad but it’s a happy moment how your old team never turned their back on you

My dad played in the major leagues too and he was drafted by the Pirates manager so they are still friends and every year we would go and hang out in the dug out before a game and I would always go to see cutch. And I went to the game when he returned to Pittsburgh and I cried. Like when he came up I screamed my boys home and it was great. He belongs in Pittsburgh
I will always love these and I WISH that the PA’s would sell the intro as if they were still on their team. I know what some may say, but fuk it. Most players don’t get this type of return/acknowledgment of achievement. They EARNED it and I would sell the hell out of that in house PA call like no other. It only happens once and few-and-far-between. Truly special moments for all players/sports to show the fans how much they appreciated the support, sacrifice, injuries all for the chance to win and shine. 👏🏻👏🏻
