    do you have to remove the power steering pump in order to install the belt?

      Garrett , thanks for the feedback. Waterpump had no noise, play or leaks. Customer was not wanting to spend any more than absolutely necessary.

    I am hearing a whorling bearing with ringing sound, only when the engine is really cold. It's the 3.2 liter engine, about 225,000 km. I think it's time to inspect that serpentine tensioner pulley before the bearing seizes up.

    It’s not a turbo, normally aspirated at least mine is 😊

    What did you do with the pin on the belt tensioner, do you try to unscrew it and remove from the tensioner or just leave it like it is? Does it serve a purpose, I.e. maintain lower tension until you remove it or no?
