Once I travelled from Iran to Turkey with Turkish Airlines; that was absolutely a fine experience. I intend to travel to Toronto in 3 months and I have choose between Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways. 🇮🇷🇹🇷🇨🇦

Yeah, usually the captains that Justplanes and Pilotseye etc fly with are chief pilots, or fleet chiefs.

B-KPB he is probably only pilot who knows english properly :) Turkish people can't learn English (nobody knows why. It's interesting because Turks learn German easily). And also fear of camera is an issue too.

I'm 17 years old and becoming a pilot has been my childhood dream. However, I am not from a rich family background and I feel as if this would make it harder for me to become a pilot.

@@jakshybala4113 if you are not a student and you pass the tests of that company for example turkish airlines gives you 2 year lessons to become a pilot and its free as far as i know but you have to pay it when you become a pilot , if you cant manage the pass the tests and failed at the end of the 2 year then you have to pay that money also . Its a little bit risky but if you have that confidence you can try :D

@@naimulhoque9707 I don't think so, I didn't see any non-Turkish pilot or cabin crew at Turkish airlines. but you can contact them via their website, it's called Turkish Airlines Flight Academy. You can ask your questions by the contact section on that website.

Batu Purre Yeah but 60 hours are the totall hours you fly from A to B, now we have to include that the two pilots have the make their route, emergency plan, etc... it costs two hours pre-flight, ander after flight they have also a checklist, that they need to deal with it, some "paperwork". Pilots may fly MAX 70 hours per month because inthe past there were crashes because of pilot fatigues... .
Miko Sultani Where do you get the max 70 hour/month figure because 70 is probably a low average in airlines with 100 hours being max.
The most of Europe's airlines permit tops 85 hours/month such as Turkish Airlines. I have never seen an Airline 100 hours/moth. It's not possible, I mean you could do it but big companies would get big fine for it.

I have a question about the English language requirements. I am a resident in England, I completed my school and university education in England, therefore I speak the English language fluently. Do I still need to take the IELTS/TOEFL exams? Because on the application website, I am required to fill in the IELTS/TOEFL exam score section.

Being a pilot is my dream job, ever since I was little I've wanted to be up in the skies. Currently, i'm 14 years old and never been in a plane however, I extremely fascinated by flight and would love to do it for a job. I'd like to ask you for advice to become a pilot if you do not mind. Firstly, how did you become a pilot (also how much money did it cost)? Well, the thing i'm stuck with is options, I cannot take flying lessons as I do not have anywhere near that amount of money. I was thinking about joining a university that does Pilot Studies and gaining my wings from there but, It's getting an airline to hire me straight from Uni. Finally, my last option and probably the one i'll have to go for is the Royal Air Force. The RAF seems great and i'd love the fact that i'm doing it for my country and it doesn't cost. However, that is not my preferred route as I'd much rather just become a commercial pilot and travel around the globe.
So anyway, please could you give me advice on what route I should take and what would be best, thank you.
You can be a fighter pilot for a few years and then become a commercial pilot. Most senior pilots are ex-fighter pilots
Ifly 777 becoming a fighter pilot is even more difficult than becoming an airline pilot

lol it says after 200 hours they got their commercial licenses. I don't know if you need an ATP license to fly for turkish air but 200 hours is barely anything. Usually in the U.S. an airline pilot needs at least 1,500 hours.

For the amount of responsibility you have flying an aircraft 200 hours does not seem much ,as an electrician it takes 10,000 hours of on job training and 2000 hrs of in class training
