Thank you! I love your videos and find them helpful. I've told several colleagues about you and your channel too. I actually teach my students in school every day, but I have to set up virtual learning in case we have to switch to virtual. You have helped me so much with that video piece. Google classroom is not easy for students who don't read well yet, but you have found so many ways to make virtual learning more fun.

Hi, I work in NJ and over half of our parents chose all virtual learning. The rest go to school every other week and are taught virtually the other week by a co-teacher. However, since I teach students with significant needs, my class comes every day. (But I have to be prepared to switch to all virtual if needed.) My school district is awesome and everyone is working so hard to keep safe and teach well. I have to say, the kids have been terrific! My school is K-3 and the kids are happy to be here and they follow the safety rules really well. I think they are more okay with all the changes than us adults...It is eerily empty at school and since we try to keep to our zones, I don't see a lot of people. Luckily there are a few of us special education teachers here and we are supporting each other. I actually find read alouds the hardest with a mask and social distancing. I've always loved the kids gathered around me as we enjoy a book together. They can see the book with the doc. camera, but it doesn't have the coziness...(and it it harder to refocus those who have difficulty paying attention). It really is going well for me, but with my kids coming to school every day, I probably have the easiest schedule of all. 😁

@@sharonedwards689 I am really happy to hear that it is going so well! The kiddos are so patient and understanding of everything going on and they really do make the best out of these situations! I am really excited for you and your journey. It is good to hear from someone who is experiencing something different than I. Thank you! :)
