  • What does it mean to be human? What real difference is there between people and other creatures? What justifies your existence in this world? What gives you value and meaning? Answering these questions of meaning and purpose, Dr. Sproul takes a hard look at what we often take for granted-human dignity-in this message entitled “How Does the Truth Relate to Me?”
This is the 4th message in a series on Christian thinking by R.C. Sproul. View the previous message in this series: • Who Is the Truth?: A B...

I started listening to Rc Sproul in 2023 and it’s been life changing. I came to Christ recently and I feel like my years without Christ were a waste. Preaching so beautiful and true.

Welcome to the brotherhood of the elect, we are blessed! And one of the blessings in my life has indeed been Dr. Sproul. I met him when I was 18, and he was 33. I thought he was an old man. But he changed my life. His voice in our home was the most heard voice other than that of our family. We listened to him via cassette tapes, radio, and now CDs and podcasts. Listen to him over and over, master what he teaches...., and then teach that to others! Blessings.

I am not an american, nor I live in the US, I understend pretty well english, I never knew nor seen Sproul, but since he went Home, eventhough we are blessed to have so many videos with him which are an imense treasure and without them I couldn't know about him or learn from him, and although I know he is with the Lord, I miss him so much. I have no words.

At first I would hear RC Spruill when I would listen to Strange Fire questions. It was panel consisting of 3.
to 5 men that answered questions from audiences University students and Seminary students. I have since learned that teaching appeals to me more than preaching. He is strictly a teacher of the Bible. He does not address political actions or laws. He is strictly a teacher and a very good teacher whom is easy on the ears and I enjoy being taught by this man. As many others are so grateful that there is a library of his teaching. One of my family members ordered one of his children's books. For my granddaughters. I do not know how much it cost. It's a beautiful book. It is of the highest quality. The paper the print and illustrations are of the best quality. So RC Sproul is also a excellent author.

One of the best lecture from R.C. sproul. He explains both philosophy and the Theology so well.He sprinkles little humour in between the lecture. To make every one laugh once in a while. A nice way of teaching .

God is consistant with his own nature, with respect to qualities and attributes aka, love, mercy, long suffering, justice, relational.
That's the image humanity must have to be children in his image, his perfect motivation.

Ever think the reason that Free Will is not specifically addressed in our bible being that God is busy writing about something else?
Doesn't do much good in a book that is not itself a debate or discussion to extrapolate or even give the point that people can want to do something and to an extent do what they want to do.

We canst fathom the emotions that went through Abraham and Jesus's when utmost reluctantly responded God's while demanding the dearest own life at an altar of Faith's on Him alone, lest our Free Will sovereignty played havoc within outs ourselves!

Total depravity suggests that human philosophy will serve only to rationalize human passions including sinful ones. Look into Sartre’s very modern polyamorous relationship with Simone de Beauvoir.
