The girl was super nice, and it wasn't her fault that this guy, Jerry, had a problem, but still, you have to be really careful when you're moving to a totally new place alone.
What you could do if you end up in a similar situation is:
1. It's ok to tell strangers you've just moved, but never let them know you're alone.
2. ALWAYS, but ALWAYS make sure you've locked your door please.
3. If it happens that someone is in your apartment (like Jerry at the end), better get out of there, call someone, your friends, police, but please don't try to face them or reason with them on your own. This girl could've run back to Luis quickly and he would help her.
