The latest one released in Bhaarath (India) 2024 has a folding/flip key. In addition, it comes with new features like LED projector headlamps, auto-folding ORVMs, automatic climate control and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The updated C3 Aircross gets LED projector headlamps, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a new flip key, and a sliding front armrest. The rear power window switches have been moved from the centre console to the panels. Both models now get 6-airbags as standard along with torque convertor gearbox.
Except for the headlights which are still present in the base model they have stopped production of the old model in my country Bhaarath (India). This means that the new stock that will arrive in your country will be the modified version. The base model will continue to be manufactured, but with the new modifications, except for the headlights. The new model's engine comes with the wet timing alloy chain instead of a wet timing poly synthetic belt. The engine with the poly synthetic wet timing belt was prone to oil induced degradation and snapping resulting in catastrophic engine failure with broken camshaft, cracked pistons, bent valves and scouring of the cylinder walls in about 50,000 km. Citroen got their act together and It is this new engine with wet steel alloy timing chain, that will be exported from Bhaarath (India) henceforth to your country. The new engine should easily last you 300,000 km with the recommended oil change.
@@sunilcherianpullockaran8817 I was just about to mention the wet timing chain issue, ive done extensive research,on this car as a whole and to be honest, this was making it impossible to even consider buying, those pure tec engines have been criticized heavily for unreliability,so although your words offer little relief it's still unsettling once you've gathered all the information there is on this car
Citroën doesn't have an assembling plant in SA and like Chinese models doesn't boost the S African labour class / economy, so for me it is a big NO in supporting such players in our country, and that is my personal perspective
@rinaetech2345 He's saying exactly what you're saying. You misread his comment and replied to what you thought he was saying, and in a huffy tone too... lol! 😂
Value for money
An updated C3 and C3 aircross has been launched, which addresses some of the cost cutting designs and ergonomics, so it just gets better for the C3.

Will this version come to s.a? Or are we stuck with this botched version?

Chinese do not have assembly plant in SA, the only assembly plan is Baic which is not in production so what are you saying
