I don't have the correct equipment. You can use a can of duster. It's a DIY. I personally haven't purged any of my pvs7's, and I haven't had any problems.
So I’m working with a system and after some tome, there appears to be a vaguely darker circle within the view, takes up 70-80 percent of the view but it’s not really all that noticeable. Thought it was some type of blew/light damage. So I initially tried black boxing. No real effect. It’s most noticeable with IR turned on. I send it to the manufacturer and I was informed, they found no issues with the tube. They sent it with a new objective lens assembly. And I’m still seeing it. So I’ve disassembled it and idk if it’s some sort of lens effect because when looking through the eye pieces, I can see a similar sized dark ring. I was guessing maybe it has something to do with the way the glass is made. The one blem I thought the tube had (this dark spec off to the side) happens to actually be an imperfection on the glass somewhere and not in the tube. But I’m wondering if this ring just happens to be product of light going through these lenses the way that it does. I wanted to see if you had any input on what could be the issue or if this could be something common but just not noticed often.
Looking to get a PVS 7 but they're out near everywhere, got any sources you recommend?
Can you upgrade a pvs-7 gen 2+ to a gen 3 white phosphur i have black burn spot in goggles want to upgrade
I haven't seen a wp gen3 tube for the pvs7.
Get a White Phosphor Gen2+ MX-10130 tube. WAY better performance than those old rusty gen3 tubes.
Cool.
Where can I find pvs 7 tubes ?
eBay
Tac swap, Reddit etc.
Can you show how to purge the unit?

@@N.MI.NightHunters good to know, thanks.
@twinchargedmr2 Use argon gas from wine infusion or nitrogen gas... but dust blowing is simply compressed air with moisture in it.
