I have 50C and i am looking for the most inexpensive solution for my passenger who will talk to me and who will talk to my mesh contacts. Should I buy the cheapest bluetooth set? Any model recommendations?

Have you used the prism camera with the 30k? I've read that the prism won't record while using mesh intercom which doesn't make sense with the 30k having the bridge technology for Bluetooth and mesh.
So.. Question... If you create a private mesh and then your group stops for lunch, do you have to reestablish the mesh or will it pick up where you left off with a private mesh. Blue tooth is nice because you just have to push a button and it pairs everyone back up.
Dafobra , how effective are the mics over time? I had recently a problem with the mic with my 10c, that I had to get a new one. I wonder, if it was due to either weather, or due to humidity or rain on the foam insert that could have seeped through. The 30k has no camera, right? Would it work easily with the Sena backpack??

Why does every review not go in depth with sound for listening to music? Is it loud enough? Better then just using headphones? Is there a lot of drown out? Can you hear the speakers still going 80mph down the freeway? Is the sound tinny when going over 30mph? Is the sound deep?
Great video! One question, can you switch out the disk speakers for headphones like the Q3? I love the functionality of the Sena and the 30K is even better. I didn’t buy it previous model though because it was so huge. Being that the 30K is the same size, I might still pass. I wish they could make it a little smaller. But that public mode... damn! Almost cool enough to ignore the fact you have a 80s brick cell phone on the side of your head. :)
There's some hacks/tutorials about for replacing the Sena speakers with ones that don't suck. I did this one for my SMH-10B: th-cam.com/video/9QpgDCYyRcY/w-d-xo.html So you may have to dig around for 20S replacements (I assume it should work with the 30K since it's the same helmet mount).
the 20S and 30K have a headphone jack built in.. then you can put a rubber block off on the clamp to keep it weatherproof.. i run speakers but a few of my friends choose earbuds instead.
dafobra Exactly. Saves ppl money and honestly more people would get that which could mean more money for them. If they sell 100k units at $299 = $30Mil VS 400k units at $99 = Almost 40mil. Plus they save on production costs.

The mesh is a good step forward in bluetooth, and the 30k works well so far ( just 1000 miles tested ) ... we didn't get any where close to the advertised 1 mile public mode tho...Tip- the mic mute for the mesh mode is hold down the mesh button for 2 seconds

I would REALLY love it if you could tell me the FCCID on the radio so I can get more information about what it's using as far as digital modulation for the mesh network. It's gotta be some kind of DMR I'm just wondering what band it's transmitting in and at what power level.
Have you made you followup test ride video??....I'd like to see the unit in action with a group of riders, I'm asking because I'm trying to decide between the 20s and 30k.

Sena just came out with a new firmware update for the 30K that should be even more of an improvement... can't go wrong with the 20S though.. it all depends on what you are going to use it for.

SgtMarkins it’s funny, I called SENA today to ask if there was an app that allowed you to control the 20S EVO, they said they are working on it. I asked if they had a headset that did have an app. Perhaps maybe the 30k(which I already knew they did) and they said, “no not yet.” Sounds to me like I got a new guy on the phone or maybe just a dumb one.

Will the sena 50r connect to the sena spider. Can you be connected to mesh and still be connected to phone gps. Is mesh as clear as Bluetooth

Damn that Mesh tech is VERY cool. The Public mode is what we were talking about in one of the rides. ONly if they sold just the 30k with no mic.

I saw the mic mute. not sure how often that would be helpful.. maybe you use it more than I would... that's not good about the range deficiency..

Used in mesh mode and it's totally unusable. Can't understand each other, very choppy. Had to switch to Bluetooth mode for it to work.

Mesh Intercom is nothing new, it's what Cardo Packtalk released two years previous.
