@@RobertBullock Yes, it should be different. I think I will wait until the first of the year to buy SPYI and QQQI in a taxable account just to see how well the 60/40 tax advantage works. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
The monthly-paying tax friendly NEOS Index ETFs (SPYI, QQQI, and IWMI) are perfect in a brokerage account while the weekly-paying Roundhill Index ETFs (XDTE, QDTE and RDTE) are perfect in a retirement account. There's immense value in not having to sell shares to obtain income, along with how the distributions earn interest equivalent to a high-yield savings account in the core position. Lastly, when there is a market pull back, correction or crash, having a nice amount of cash in the core position to buy more shares is always nice.
Услышал про фонды NEOS, которые опционными стратегиями доход приносят. Думаю, стоит ли туда вкладываться или что-то другое поискать? А на utex, кстати, можно американскими акциями поторговать. Кто пробовал, как вам?
Excellent series Joe! Thank you so much. I’ve watched a number of interviews with the NEOS fund managers and I do not believe they have ever used a call credit spread to date. They do have it in their toolbox if needed. Just FYI. I like them for their tax efficiency and also they do not normally sell options on their entire portfolio which is what is giving the better upside. Also they target 1% per month on SPYI at least so it’s kinda nice to get that somewhat managed distribution.
I credit this channel for helping me create the core of my portfolio. Great detail and historical insight with in-depth assessments on how a specific fund operates. Thanks Average Joe! 🍻
Thanks for your continued testing of ETFs, love your channel. Now about the apples, I haven't tried the Cosmic Crisp but will look for them, however my Wife recently bought some Hunnyz, and they are great as well, and I recommend them if you can find them. I'm looking forward to your next videos. Happy New Year!!
Great video! I have growth stocks and index investments, I recently started to focus on income imvesting with these ETFs and I’m actually enjoying it! Luv the monthly dividends 👍
I'm quite happy with SPYI and QQQI. I recently noticed IWMI exceeded $100MM in assets and I started buying in. I have high expectations, but plan to keep IWMI to 1/2 my QQQI position.
I used to be on the Cosmic Crisp train up until I got to have some Wolf River apples. It's then that I learned there's always something better in the world.
@@AverageJoeInvestor I got them from a family member's coworker who has a small orchard of them. Not sure where else they can be found other than calling around any local orchards and seeing if they have any.
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.
@@YinusaSaheed The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?
Well it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you are looking for long-term growth, the S&P 500 is best. If you are looking for a blend of growth and income or straight income then these funds are likely going to be better options. THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! 👍😎
@@AverageJoeInvestor Originally created in New Zealand, then flown to USA. Became very popular! So fruit company that created them opened a large farm(s) in Washington state. I assumed they are everywhere now. I have seen them at Sam's Club (since Walmart owns Sam's I would guess they have them), also at Safeway, Lidl, & Whole Foods. I live in Maryland near Washington, DC., very common here but not always available. Envy cost a little more but worth it. I first had one about 5 years ago. It is a cross breed between Royal Gala and Braeburn apples.
There is no comparison at all NEOS' funds vs YMAX and YMAG, just look at the stock price and dividend history. YMAX and YMAG win hands down! By the way, I do NOT own YMAX or YMAG, I prefer more aggressive funds like MSTY.

I bought 87k of SPYI in September 2023. Value now 96K + have been getting approx $950 in monthly dividend.
More excellent work. I especially appreciate the way you measure the ability of these funds to retain the value of the capital.
Our pleasure! THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! 👍😎
Great add to previous work. Would have been real interesting to compare the popular trios (JEPI, SPYI, GPIX), etc. Maybe the next one!
For sure! We will get there. THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! 👍😎
Thanks for the very timely video. This month, I purchased SPYI, QQQI, and IWMI in my IRA account. I will evaluate them at the end of 2025.
Awesome!! THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! 👍😎
I presume inside an Ira the tax advantage if any would be different vis a vis the 60/40 consideration.

Happy New Year. Thanks for a great video!
Surprised how well NUSI did, need to look into this one more.
I will admit I wash also surprised by the results. THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! 👍😎
This one loses when the market slowly bleeds. I've owned NUSI for a couple years
@golt4576
A couple of years? No you haven’t.
I wonder if the high income and nav erosion will eventually be less income than the less income and less nav erosion now etfs
Learned a lot from this, thanks!

Great work, thank you sir.
It would be helpful to show Beta and NAV for the ETF's you discuss. Great content love the data
So NUSI was the NEOS overall total return winner? I would have liked to see NUSI included in the final graph with IWMI/SPYI/QQQI.
That’s reasonable feedback. I appreciate it. THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! 👍😎

Huge fan of Spyi since it came on the market. We own a 100 shares and just let it drip back.

Loved it! So many great experiences! Thanks for asking!! 👍😎
I am 85% BIL
5% XRMI have put protection
5-10% either one can buy SPYI or XYLD whichever

Moral of the story
Buy QDTE and reinvest the dividends. Lower max drawdowns and similar total returns as QQQ

BTCI paid huge...love NEOS
Did I miss the part where he explained how much he invested to test these?
I think you have to show only the total return result, the rest make only confusion and is useless, money are the same.

0.68% expense ratio?? Thanks but no thanks. Likely better off sticking to the sp500. Dont be an idiot!
Good review of why these are all terrible investments for the average investor.
