- As Remi reaches 13 weeks old, we get to see more of his personality come out and flourish. He is smart and learns tricks very quickly, extremely cuddly and, like all typical dachshunds, can be stubborn too. But we love every part of him!
He also tries on a new red bandana to add to his wardrobe, a hand-me-down from his sister Mia. Remi and Mia also visited Port Melbourne Dog Beach, where they met dogs and got to run around and use their digging skills!

I once walked my Alaskan Malmute & my Lab on a tamdum leash. It was very early in the morning. All of a sudden a large Shepard was running toward us barking & growling. I realized that we were in a very dangerous situation. They never could have defended themselves being tied together if this Shepard did attack. Fortunately I stepped in front of them & in my loudest voice, put my arm out as I yelled in a fierce way STOP! The Shepard was shocked and he stopped in his tracks. His owner came out of his garage & called him back. Thank heavens. I went right home & threw that tamdum leash in the garbage. I feel, in this situation it was very dangerous to use.

How mush is the litter black an tan where are they located
Just a quick question what do you feed them?
We feed him Royal Canin specialized dachshund puppy food, this is what multiple vets have recommended us. We are still doing our research into raw diets (very conflicting views) but our vets have advised that if we are wanting to make the change (which they generally advised against), that it should be done after 6 months. We also feed them apples, carrots, tuna in fresh spring water and some other things as healthy snacks. Hope that helps!
I think these two wonderful angels Mia and Remi have the same character: they are endearing, playful and very smart ❤ And, although they are certainly sometimes as stuborn as all dachshunds (by the way, their stubbornness is so cute), dachshunds are the best dogs in the world ❤ Wonderful video ❤❤❤

Soooo very cute! I love the way they get along. You are very blessed to have such loving puppies. I have had 3 dachshunds over the years. Our little River is such a sweet girl and we want to get her a dachshund brother or sister. We recently found out she has a slow moving cancer which they couldn't get but she is doing great now so we just pray she stays that way for a long time.
Love them both but Remis brows are slayage in their perfection. Thank you for continuing to share their adventures.

I wish the print were bigger, hard to see. But they sure are cute
I love how Remi's face is marked. He's uniquely himself & makes me long for another Dachshund. For the first time in my life, I'm without a Dachshund. I've had to make a major move, so as soon as I'm settled, I'll be adopting a slightly senior Doxie. They are the best company & most loyal companions ever. 🐾🐾❣️🐾🐾

Did the hair on the ears ever grow out or did he stay thin? Our lil guy is thin in the same places.
It is still quite thin, our vet told us that it’s normal especially around the ears and chest because most dachshunds have hair loss around there. Nothing to worry about!
