When I’m approaching a new star...esp 4 & 5, I don’t worry about score on my first attempt. I use that turn to take my time & scan the whole board so I can see all the new items that have been added to the game. Then I have a better chance of high score on the rest of my attempts. #ILOVEJJ
@@anneshreve2337 Take a screenshot at the beginning of the higher levels and analyze it thoroughly, even using zoom. I’ve no idea how anyone can play this on an iPhone or laptop. I use an iPad Pro and some of the objects are tiny. I have to trim my nails, which is fine as I have lesbian nails. However, others don’t. I found the railroad car fairly easy as things were so confined and larger, unlike the airport with tinier objects.
Also if you can expand the scene you will see that the search bar items gray out & darken but as you pan through the scene, when you get near an object on your list it becomes brighter on your search bar to indicate it is within your view. This helps to find items if you don't quickly see them. Also if you misstap do not worry about it but use it as an opportunity to really look through the scene. Then your next play you can more than make up for it by moving quickly and scoring a higher bonus.Have fun!
I also say the item out loud or count the number of the item as it appears, (i.e. Shoe, rake, jerry can, etc.; or, 1, 2, 3, etc. Each 1st scene has 7 items. Scene 2 has 10 items, and the last three scenes have 12 items), when seeking the scene. This offers focus and encouragement while seeking. It also allows a tempo to maintain to keep up bonus scores.
I do the same thing. I subvocalize the items because I'm sitting next to my husband and my dog, both of whom think I'm going crazy if I say the items out loud. I didn't know that the first scene has seven items and all the rest twelve. I'm ashamed to admit that even though I'm on level 900+, there's so much that I don't know. Thank you for this information.
Maybe everyone already knows/uses this tip but, for me I try and read all 3 items at own time so I then click them off 1,2,3. Then glance down again. I love this game wish I’d found it sooner during COVID lockdown. Best of luck everyone.
I have two tips. Tip number 1. When you get to your 5th star, you are going to blow it at first. Once you do, stop, take you time and expand the scene. Find all the new objects and make mental notes about where they are or what the game might call them. I have found that within a few more plays of that, I am getting perfect scores more often. Tip number 2. I use a tablet. I find I can get scores over 600000 by keeping my head still and letting my eyes focus on the objects. I don't know why, but it causes my hand to tap faster and better than if I move my head. I have played JJ on a cell phone and, yes, it can go faster. But, I love playing it on a tablet since I get to enjoy the scene more.

I have fibromyalgia, Long COVID, and I'm aging so brain fog is an awful problem for me. I have trouble focusing and remembering, so you can imagine how much this game has helped me! Anxiety is another aspect of my health issues, so games with explosions in right flashing colors are definitely NOT good for me. I am such a fan of JJ that I am constantly recommending it to my friends and plan on mentioning it to my doctor as a help to aging patients. One trick that has helped me remember: when I find something knew, I repeatedly move my eyes from the bottom of the screen to the object's location, saying the object's name aloud. This is done as the score is being tallied so does not take away from actual time played. I find that I am applying the same techniques to real life situations when I need to remember things, which helps with anxiety and confusion. I think this game is brilliant in it's construction. The interwoven intricacies, story progression, beautiful scenes, and the sounds and music are all conducive to further involvement in the game. Bravo! Keep up the good work! Oh. Could you also provide links to all the other JJ offerings? I understand there is something on Spotify? A podcast? I'm like a kid who saw a movie and now I want ALL the toys to go with it! Bravo!
This game has also helped me with my memory. I’ve had trauma resulting in aphasia. This game has helped me relearn words by looking at pictures. Other games are geared towards children learning basic items. This game is addictive and rewarding. I’m glad you found it helps you too!
Like you, I have some health issues that JJ helps me overcome. A few years ago I had a burst brain aneurysm. All the doctors say I should have died or become somewhat of a vegetable. I'm neither, but I do have issues remembering some things and focusing. JJ has helped me focus and remember due to its repetativeness (is that a word? 😊). I spend way too much money on the game but I try to justify it as a medical treatment 😂. Too bad my insurance doesn't reimburse me 😉.
I would love to be able to rotate item to different directions, having everything facing the same way is sometimes difficult to create the scene desired. #ILoveJJ
One other thing you can do before your time starts-look for items that kind of "stick out". If I do that, then I have an idea of what items may come up and already know where some things are located. I feel like items that are going to be on the list either weren't in the previous game, look out of place, or kind of have a "sticker" look to them (hard to describe, but depending on if it's an item that isn't part of the picture, it doesn't blend into the picture...like a sticker.
I find that using a magnifying glass 🔍helps me see the objects much faster and clearer. I normally play on my tablet, as compared to my phone, because the screen is much larger and easier to see the objects! Thanks for a magnificent game! I'm 3 years and counting! ❤

I love this game! A couple of things I do when starting a new hidden-object scene is 1) to place my thumb on the screen (to keep it from blacking out) and then 2) use a magnifying glass to identify where objects are on the scene. I also tend to play in a dark room as I can see the screen better than in a lit room. Both strategies have definitely improved my scores using an LG phone.
depending on the device you are playing on ... you can "spread" the screen and that makes things larger to see them better. Also, your device probably can set the time before it goes dark. Maybe you can set that to be the longest possible.
Yes, what Linda said...change the timer on your phone for the screen saver setting. Zooming in will help find things as well, you can scroll the image around to find items...they will be "blank" in the list until that item is in the screen, then it will light up in the list.
I swear I believe when I am down to only one object after I hit the find light the object popup on the screen. I know it wasn't there before I hit the light. Lol
YES me also. I have a Love/Loathe relationship - LOL Love playing it and Loathe the amount of time I do as I'm busy and often 'REAL' stuff doesn't get done cos I'm playing JJ! ....so Yes Addicted!
I have gotten much better with my score now. I click on the items from left to right which makes my score higher...I play on my ipad which is much faster also
June seems to be obsessed with paper planes, kites, bells, and between you and me, I think she walks with a cane. There's no other explanation for these things to be absolutely everywhere June goes. And don't get me started on that bicycle tyre pump!
How about the Surgical masks! When I first enter a scene, I go over everything that's in the space. I look at everything. And I do that each time the scene changes. (After getting a star new things are added)... So I get perfects a lot. #ILOVEJJ
that's the fun of it - you have to figure it out. If it says bat you can be sure of one thing ... there will not be BOTH a baseball bat and an animal bat in the scene
@@lindaadams2088 not sure about that. I just finished a scene that had raquets (plural) and raquet (singular) . Plural was snowhoe ( raquettes in french) Singular was a tennis (raquette in french).
It's the same with "bow". It could be a bow that goes with an arrow, a ribbon bow, or an instrument bow. Sometimes they specify the kind, but other times they let you _guess._ Tricky devs!
I absolutely love June’s Journey. I play from Switzerland. And I found out that I can play on my iPad very well with my two fingers, one left hand and one right hand. I am much quicker so. But first it is hard to play so. But now I am used to and it makes so much fun. On my iPhone I am not quick because I cannot see the items very well. So I always play on my iPad. 🎉😊
I've used on of the smaller islands to store all the extra items I've bought for flowers. Also, when I buy a big ticket igne like the fire engine (2400 flowers) I sell off other items worth about half of the flowers I've earned from the expensive item. Hope this suggestion helps.
Move some items you don't want (or large items not worth many flowers) off to a corner) bunched together tightly. Buy a high (flower) item. Fire truck; what ever (30K-72M). As that that high flower item is "opened" sell off lesser value items (or move to storage ship to sell later; a saving place for rainy day coins). About half (+/-) of what you just opened. Do this once or 2-3 times per week for several weeks to a month. This should clear some space to decorate. *Make a plan for occasional high flower items to keep space available. Also, if you just need to decorate and don't wish to sell off; or permanently store anything, you can use the SHIP to just "decorate" easier as well. You can move things in for 2 seconds, 2 minutes, 2 hours, 2 days or forever. And, remove when ever to redecorate. Remember to do this when you have free time and or small sections at a time; or one island at a time (if rest full). Don't forget this may limit your advancement (next chapter/level) until decorating is complete. *The flower value is subtracted while in the ship; bit comes right back when item is placed back on island. Play around with a 1 or 5 star value to see item see how this works. It's great.
So I found out another trick into finding objects; when you zoom in, the word will light up when the object is in the picture and when the item is not in the picture the word will get shaded. Maybe it’s a trick or maybe it’s a glitch but I like it instead of using the hint icon

@@chantellenew2331 My brain injury affected the connection between my eyes and brain. In the beginning, i could not play hidden object games. I liked JJ because it didn't really have a timer(you just don't get as many points) and the setup of it works for my brain better than other games. I do the same. I pause after each star level to enlarge and really scan the scene well before even attempting to tap items. Now, I'm able to play much faster and it's improving my visual skills again. Thankyou Wooga! This game is a life-changer.
@Tricia R. It really is good therapy. It can be very bad on a bad day though but in general, it is great help. I occasionally try another hidden object game but I can't manage them as well as JJ.
I have 2 learning disabilities and this game has definitely helped me with one. I will keep playing as we all know the brain goes with age and this seems to help. ;-)
After I collect my coins from the buildings, I wait a few minutes, go back and collect a few more (touch the buildings and look for the green coin circle). It’s just a few coins but they add up. Same with energy.
I know, using the light bulb keeps you from getting a prefect, or high score, but I use it to find new clues when they're added to a scene, that way I'll be able to find them again in that scene. I know that the trick with June's game & Pearl's game is to remember where you found an object, because they always stay in situ
Does that work on phones too. I play on my phone. I'm an equal opportunity game player, in that I play many games from other developers. I love those games to, but their hidden objects don't stay in situ, & their hint buttons aren't self regenerating as the light bulb in June's game, & the magnifying glass in Pearl's game, you have to purchase their hint buttons
One tip is, if it calls you to look for a "blue suitcase" but you can't find one, it's because the color is wrong. I found out the hard way lol! Also some words don't make sense, like "zebra stripes". It's not the stripes on the zebra they are referring to, it's actually the crosswalk in the road!
I think they are using British English. There are many occasions when the words aren't one's we would use in American English. Not really obvious examples, but they are there. Like calling a Gas Can a Jerry Can.
The zebra stripe thing caught me up too. Really, it's a crosswalk! My other favorite is when in one scene they call an item by one name only to call it by another name in the next one!

I agree about turning the objects,it’s very difficult to enjoy your scenes fully when I personally don’t care the quantity of prizes I buy,to me it’s the quality of my island,I and my wife love to play but it is frustrating when u constantly want an item only to discover when u buy it that it faces the wrong direction for what u in vision great idea though,also better plants would be nice,or at least different ones... love the game
Thank you about the stylus comment! Had had a great stylus at one time , couldn’t slid it on the screen but when used just for tapping it stuck and stayed on! My scores were always well over the 662000 scores, that stylus has become well, used up due in part to being carted around I suppose and cannot find another like it!
Great tips on here! I find things left to right 123, 123, 123 and so on. By the time I master the scene I will be in second or third place and once in a great while I get first. 😊
I've been playing fir months and do well but decided t I check out your hints. I'd never heard of left to right but will try this tactic. I usually look at all 3 words at once and select the one that I can tap the quickest. If I am not sure where an item is I ignore it till later and usually find it when looking fir something else. I pay attention to new items that have been added as they may come up later.
Sometimes the HO have names that I find a little weird. I saw a pair of hemostats/surgical clamps labeled scissors, a rat labeled a mouse, an urn labeled a vase, just to name a few that popped into my head immediately. Maybe it’s due to transition. Lol. But I adjust and move on.
Yes!!! I have seen each and every item that you just named and thought the exact same thing! The urn/vase gets me , But just today I seen a large taller Urn they labeled Trashcan!🤯that took me a min to figure out. 🥴
I figured out about the smaller the screen the higher the points when I went to a bigger screen iPad. But you know what? Even though I lost my position I love looking at the game where I can see items so much better! I’m at the same time trying to improve the way I play my game by being more efficient with my moves. I’m hoping to do better.
I finally figured out that when you are in the magnifying mode and move around when you are over the area that an item is in the word is dark, move out of view and the word dims!!
FROM JJ: Rotating items would mean that we would need to use at least 4x the data space for every single item, and we would have already reached the amount of space available for them (which would mean: no more no items). We prefer to continue making new beautiful decorations instead!
If you zoom in on specific areas, only object names that can be found in that area will stay bold. Object names that aren’t in that area will look washed out.
#ILOVEJJ. I really like this game. Decorating is relaxing. I like being able to talk to my teammates as well. I love the way we work together to accomplish our goals and to try our hardest for 1st place. I have had some glitches sometimes, but rarely. Thank you.
I love playing June's journey but i would love the front island the main island 🏝 to be bigger so you could decorate it better. Wish they would take away spot the difference i don't like that one but I'm addicted to the game i never miss it i play it everyday. Thanks for the tips guys
#ILoveJJ I'm curious why reading the clues left to right may help me get a higher score, Would you expand on that? I have found that skipping over a clue if I don't know it's location and keep locating the other objects sometimes lead me to the one I wasn't sure about and it doesn't stop the multiplier bar. Also, if I hold me phone at an angle then my hands doesn't cover any clues :)
Yes, you're right finding clues as you go & that's what the first 4 Stars are for. However on the 5th Star 454K is the Golden Star Score for click/tap in order. Plus 40k each for Accuracy & Not using Hint = 534K. Speed is the variable for high scores. You lose 1k for each out of order you do. (In this case keeping your booster up is better than not.) It's L to R but not always 1,2,3. In that you can start anywhere, eg: 2,3,1 is still L to R & in order. The Scene starts w/1 of the 3 highlighted, not necessarily the 1st nor does it haveto be picked first. (Using a hint finds the next item in game order) Cheers :)
@@rubyrelic6844 I'm trying to understand what they mean by 'Left'. The words are listed in three places and I understand reading left-to-right. But, I haven't noticed a consistent pattern. If I rigidly pick the left word, the middle word, and then the right-hand word, it doesn't always benefit me. There seems to be a hidden pattern because sometimes the timer doesn't start until the fourth word/item is found. But, for the life of me, I haven't figured out what that pattern is. It's seems changeable.
@@kirisalazar7488 When Pearl's Peril came out we noticed that if you constantly went from left to right.. your score was higher. If you went from right to left our just mixed up the articles, your score was lower. The same thing with JJ... click on the articles from left to right all the way through to the end and your score will be higher. I don't know why it works this say, I just know that with both games .. it is the same. Hope that helps.
@@judithhester2870 Thanks. But have you noticed that sometimes, depending on how you select items, the timer counting down starts later? I've tried item names listed left-to-right, items placed left-to-right, combinations where I find the first two named items and then switched when an item farther right comes up. There doesn't seem to be a one-fits-all rule to how to delay the timer. If there is a pattern, it escapes me.
@@kirisalazar7488 Are you talking about the bonus timer? That starts after the first couple items are found and runs down until you click an item. If it runs out before you click an item then you have to click a couple more to get it started again. That is the benefit to clicking items quickly, the timer does not run out.
What is good is learning American English for example in the uk a wall light is called a sconce in America, I did have to use the hint button the first time. And a American hand pin wheel we call a wind mill in the uk.
Left handers, I been told have a disadvantage they have trouble seeing the items listed in the bar below because their hand covers it. I'm left handed but I'm not bad at finding items, you can memorise where they are on the scene as you play but I still have trouble seeing the items and getting higher scores by playing left to right.
Wish I knew about this videos earlier. Had to learn most of this from playing and experimenting--Help Page would go a long way. MY WISH is a notification when someone in my group/area is online for the Cafe. Cannot tell you how often I look and find 0 online--especially hard when trying to complete a Challenge Prize during contests.
I didn’t know that clicking items left to right mattered to improving my score. Hmmm. Yet I did learn a trick which maybe isn’t a trick. I will light touch the screen to get it bright and study it before I start touching the objects because that’s when the timer starts. I do this throughout the scene as new objects are gradually added. A nice preview and I say out loud what is there. It seems easier to remember that way than just acknowledging it’s there visually.

Tip for Dev Team .... There is a difference between a "Turtle and a Tortoise", many times you have asked to find a turtle, but there is only a tortoise. PS: International Fire Extinguishers colour is RED, not yellow, not rusted, not brown.
David Banner during the era of when June’s journey was played they were a rusty-yellow-gold color. I have an antique one at home that has been handed down for decoration through the generations.
Da ich nirgends Hilfe für mein Problem finde, frage ich hier einfach einmal. Ich habe erst angefangen zu spielen und die ersten 4 Szenen gespielt. Ich habe in allen 4 Szene 5 Sterne. Habe auch den Springbrunnen gebaut. Trotzdem habe ich in der Szene 4, das Level (damit meine ich den grünen Kreis der um die 1 läuft) nicht vollbekommen und kann wahrscheinlich deshalb nicht weiterspielen. Was kann ich tun, um in die 5. Szene zu kommen. Ich finde das Spiel so toll, aber bin langsam verzweifelt, weil ich nicht weiter weiß und keine Hilfe finde. You don't need real money, but you must meet the Flower requirements to progress. Try selling lower flower items, like grass, and replacing them with decorations that offer more flowers :)
I play on a Laptop with a Mouse and have place First on Many Scenes! AIn't easy, some days are just better than others, especially if a majority of Items are on the same side of the Scene! I am on Facebook, but appear in the game as CosmoBrown26. IDK how, it was picked for me and I love it!
#ILoveJJ Thank you April and Dario, it was nice to see in this video a resolution to the debate over 'does playing Left to Right make a difference', and now we can point to a video that tells us that it DOES. - For brand new people April and Dario are also on the official JJ Facebook pages, and over the years they have made many fun videos for us players, and it is such fun to see them.
Question for the developers. For those of us who have figured out these tips and consistently get 1st place on a scene, it would be fun to see a list of top 10 Leaders in an area. Showing how many 1st places have been earned. Or Better, create a scoring system, so 3 points for 1st 2 points for second and 1 for third. Group it by level or scene, so players can see how they stack up against the others playing in their region, group however you divvy things up. This last point would keep from those in scene 800 just destroying those in the 100’s. Just another way to add some competition for the players.
I would LOVE to see something like this, or an award or prize at the end of the year. I consistently score 662s and even have several 663s under my belt, I play on my phone though.

#LoveJJ sometimes it is very difficult to see the very dark scenes on a phone. It is great to be able to play on a tablet or phone, when playing through a tablet or laptop with windows you have to go through Facebook which does make the game run slower. The Microsoft store does not offer JJ as a download. I hope this information is helpful.
I have a Samsung galaxy tablet that I got for my games and NEVER have to go thru FB or windows. It runs better/as good than any game did on my Samsung phone. Google Play has June's Journey 👍👍
Could someone clarify what the term "get items from left to right" means? Do they mean look for items on the left-hand side of the screen, or pick each item as listed of the words on the bottom from left to right? And, if the first word is found and then a new item appears, is that the left one we should look for? Or do we go First Word, Second Word, Third Word as if we take each bubble word in turn? No matter what I've tried, I only occasional see a result where the time starts on a delay, but I haven't figured out the system. The pattern seems to change each time. HELP!
How come when you keep getting perfect score you never really get any good Rewards you know like one energy 1 compass or nothing but coins. . good score. good prizes prizes
This is very interesting, I had not noticed that yet but now will pay close attention and look for hitting higher rewards. The only other on my leaderboard is Jack anyway so there’s no need to try for a high score unless challenged to for a series of Perfects. I’d really like to keep more compasses coming in. Since I tend to try for Perfect scores in scenes that could be why it’s been so hard for me to accumulate the necessary compasses.
I’ve been playing since March 2020 and at the beginning I would get a “time out/ad” if I clicked on too many incorrect items in a row. I have improved but these 2 didnt mention it.
I play June's Journey on my PC. So If you have a desktop p/c here's what I do. Normally I have my page size set at 125%,. But when I play June's Journey, I minimize my screen down to 80% The smaller the screen size, the quicker you can move from object to object!! This helps to find items if you don't quickly see them. Also if you misstap do not worry about it but use it as an opportunity to really look through the scene. Then your next play you can more than make up for it by moving quickly and scoring a higher bonus.Have fun!

I also say the item out loud or count the number of the item as it appears, (i.e. Shoe, rake, jerry can, etc.; or, 1, 2, 3, etc. Each 1st scene has 7 items. Scene 2 has 10 items, and the last three scenes have 12 items), when seeking the scene. This offers focus and encouragement while seeking. It also allows a tempo to maintain to keep up bonus scores.
I do the same thing. I subvocalize the items because I'm sitting next to my husband and my dog, both of whom think I'm going crazy if I say the items out loud. I didn't know that the first scene has seven items and all the rest twelve. I'm ashamed to admit that even though I'm on level 900+, there's so much that I don't know. Thank you for this information.

Maybe everyone already knows/uses this tip but, for me I try and read all 3 items at own time so I then click them off 1,2,3. Then glance down again. I love this game wish I’d found it sooner during COVID lockdown. Best of luck everyone.
I have two tips. Tip number 1. When you get to your 5th star, you are going to blow it at first. Once you do, stop, take you time and expand the scene. Find all the new objects and make mental notes about where they are or what the game might call them. I have found that within a few more plays of that, I am getting perfect scores more often. Tip number 2. I use a tablet. I find I can get scores over 600000 by keeping my head still and letting my eyes focus on the objects. I don't know why, but it causes my hand to tap faster and better than if I move my head. I have played JJ on a cell phone and, yes, it can go faster. But, I love playing it on a tablet since I get to enjoy the scene more.
Can you change from cell phone to ipad without having to start over?

I have fibromyalgia, Long COVID, and I'm aging so brain fog is an awful problem for me. I have trouble focusing and remembering, so you can imagine how much this game has helped me! Anxiety is another aspect of my health issues, so games with explosions in right flashing colors are definitely NOT good for me. I am such a fan of JJ that I am constantly recommending it to my friends and plan on mentioning it to my doctor as a help to aging patients.
One trick that has helped me remember: when I find something knew, I repeatedly move my eyes from the bottom of the screen to the object's location, saying the object's name aloud. This is done as the score is being tallied so does not take away from actual time played.
I find that I am applying the same techniques to real life situations when I need to remember things, which helps with anxiety and confusion.
I think this game is brilliant in it's construction. The interwoven intricacies, story progression, beautiful scenes, and the sounds and music are all conducive to further involvement in the game.

This game has also helped me with my memory. I’ve had trauma resulting in aphasia. This game has helped me relearn words by looking at pictures. Other games are geared towards children learning basic items. This game is addictive and rewarding. I’m glad you found it helps you too!
I too say the word out loud as I look for it. I've been having some issues I making appointments to see some doctors about them 🤞.
Like you, I have some health issues that JJ helps me overcome. A few years ago I had a burst brain aneurysm. All the doctors say I should have died or become somewhat of a vegetable. I'm neither, but I do have issues remembering some things and focusing. JJ has helped me focus and remember due to its repetativeness (is that a word? 😊). I spend way too much money on the game but I try to justify it as a medical treatment 😂. Too bad my insurance doesn't reimburse me 😉.

One other thing you can do before your time starts-look for items that kind of "stick out". If I do that, then I have an idea of what items may come up and already know where some things are located. I feel like items that are going to be on the list either weren't in the previous game, look out of place, or kind of have a "sticker" look to them (hard to describe, but depending on if it's an item that isn't part of the picture, it doesn't blend into the picture...like a sticker.
I find that using a magnifying glass 🔍helps me see the objects much faster and clearer. I normally play on my tablet, as compared to my phone, because the screen is much larger and easier to see the objects! Thanks for a magnificent game! I'm 3 years and counting! ❤

I love this game! A couple of things I do when starting a new hidden-object scene is 1) to place my thumb on the screen (to keep it from blacking out) and then 2) use a magnifying glass to identify where objects are on the scene. I also tend to play in a dark room as I can see the screen better than in a lit room. Both strategies have definitely improved my scores using an LG phone.
depending on the device you are playing on ... you can "spread" the screen and that makes things larger to see them better. Also, your device probably can set the time before it goes dark. Maybe you can set that to be the longest possible.
Yes, what Linda said...change the timer on your phone for the screen saver setting. Zooming in will help find things as well, you can scroll the image around to find items...they will be "blank" in the list until that item is in the screen, then it will light up in the list.
Go to your settings, and there you can say how long you want the dark screen to be on. Half hour an hour 2 hrs 3 hrs and up.

When I first enter a scene, I go over everything that's in the space. I look at everything. And I do that each time the scene changes. (After getting a star new things are added)... So I get perfects a lot. #ILOVEJJ

that's the fun of it - you have to figure it out. If it says bat you can be sure of one thing ... there will not be BOTH a baseball bat and an animal bat in the scene

It's the same with "bow". It could be a bow that goes with an arrow, a ribbon bow, or an instrument bow. Sometimes they specify the kind, but other times they let you _guess._ Tricky devs!

A thing my wife and I do is turn up the brightness on your phone, that way it's light enough for you to scan the scene before you hit START.

I absolutely love June’s Journey. I play from Switzerland. And I found out that I can play on my iPad very well with my two fingers, one left hand and one right hand. I am much quicker so. But first it is hard to play so. But now I am used to and it makes so much fun. On my iPhone I am not quick because I cannot see the items very well. So I always play on my iPad. 🎉😊

I've used on of the smaller islands to store all the extra items I've bought for flowers. Also, when I buy a big ticket igne like the fire engine (2400 flowers) I sell off other items worth about half of the flowers I've earned from the expensive item.

Move some items you don't want (or large items not worth many flowers) off to a corner) bunched together tightly. Buy a high (flower) item. Fire truck; what ever (30K-72M). As that that high flower item is "opened" sell off lesser value items (or move to storage ship to sell later; a saving place for rainy day coins). About half (+/-) of what you just opened. Do this once or 2-3 times per week for several weeks to a month. This should clear some space to decorate. *Make a plan for occasional high flower items to keep space available.
Also, if you just need to decorate and don't wish to sell off; or permanently store anything, you can use the SHIP to just "decorate" easier as well.
You can move things in for 2 seconds, 2 minutes, 2 hours, 2 days or forever. And, remove when ever to redecorate.
Remember to do this when you have free time and or small sections at a time; or one island at a time (if rest full). Don't forget this may limit your advancement (next chapter/level) until decorating is complete. *The flower value is subtracted while in the ship; bit comes right back when item is placed back on island.
Play around with a 1 or 5 star value to see item see how this works. It's great.

Another trick I have, I take a screen shot of every scene when I move a level, study the scene, and I can find the items really quickly.
I do the same thing for the first go of the last scene. It helps me to end up in the top 10 of the Leaderboard.

So I found out another trick into finding objects; when you zoom in, the word will light up when the object is in the picture and when the item is not in the picture the word will get shaded. Maybe it’s a trick or maybe it’s a glitch but I like it instead of using the hint icon

@@chantellenew2331 My brain injury affected the connection between my eyes and brain. In the beginning, i could not play hidden object games. I liked JJ because it didn't really have a timer(you just don't get as many points) and the setup of it works for my brain better than other games. I do the same. I pause after each star level to enlarge and really scan the scene well before even attempting to tap items. Now, I'm able to play much faster and it's improving my visual skills again. Thankyou Wooga! This game is a life-changer.
@Tricia R. It really is good therapy. It can be very bad on a bad day though but in general, it is great help. I occasionally try another hidden object game but I can't manage them as well as JJ.
I have 2 learning disabilities and this game has definitely helped me with one. I will keep playing as we all know the brain goes with age and this seems to help. ;-)

After I collect my coins from the buildings, I wait a few minutes, go back and collect a few more (touch the buildings and look for the green coin circle). It’s just a few coins but they add up. Same with energy.

I know, using the light bulb keeps you from getting a prefect, or high score, but I use it to find new clues when they're added to a scene, that way I'll be able to find them again in that scene. I know that the trick with June's game & Pearl's game is to remember where you found an object, because they always stay in situ
You can also zoom in and it will only highlight the items on the screen. That helps too without using the hint button!
Does that work on phones too. I play on my phone. I'm an equal opportunity game player, in that I play many games from other developers. I love those games to, but their hidden objects don't stay in situ, & their hint buttons aren't self regenerating as the light bulb in June's game, & the magnifying glass in Pearl's game, you have to purchase their hint buttons

One tip is, if it calls you to look for a "blue suitcase" but you can't find one, it's because the color is wrong. I found out the hard way lol! Also some words don't make sense, like "zebra stripes". It's not the stripes on the zebra they are referring to, it's actually the crosswalk in the road!
I think they are using British English. There are many occasions when the words aren't one's we would use in American English. Not really obvious examples, but they are there. Like calling a Gas Can a Jerry Can.

My other favorite is when in one scene they call an item by one name only to call it by another name in the next one!

Thank you about the stylus comment! Had had a great stylus at one time , couldn’t slid it on the screen but when used just for tapping it stuck and stayed on! My scores were always well over the 662000 scores, that stylus has become well, used up due in part to being carted around I suppose and cannot find another like it!

Great tips on here! I find things left to right 123, 123, 123 and so on. By the time I master the scene I will be in second or third place and once in a great while I get first. 😊
I've been playing fir months and do well but decided t I check out your hints. I'd never heard of left to right but will try this tactic. I usually look at all 3 words at once and select the one that I can tap the quickest. If I am not sure where an item is I ignore it till later and usually find it when looking fir something else. I pay attention to new items that have been added as they may come up later.
I wish there was a way to get more light on some of the scenes. Some are still very dark when enlarged to full screen.

I finally figured out that when you are in the magnifying mode and move around when you are over the area that an item is in the word is dark, move out of view and the word dims!!
FROM JJ: Rotating items would mean that we would need to use at least 4x the data space for every single item, and we would have already reached the amount of space available for them (which would mean: no more no items). We prefer to continue making new beautiful decorations instead!

If you zoom in on specific areas, only object names that can be found in that area will stay bold. Object names that aren’t in that area will look washed out.

I love playing June's journey but i would love the front island the main island 🏝 to be bigger so you could decorate it better. Wish they would take away spot the difference i don't like that one but I'm addicted to the game i never miss it i play it everyday. Thanks for the tips guys

Connecting to Facebook is the best way! Also write down your user id (in your settings menu) so that we can locate your game if it is lost.

#ILoveJJ I'm curious why reading the clues left to right may help me get a higher score, Would you expand on that? I have found that skipping over a clue if I don't know it's location and keep locating the other objects sometimes lead me to the one I wasn't sure about and it doesn't stop the multiplier bar. Also, if I hold me phone at an angle then my hands doesn't cover any clues :)
Yes, you're right finding clues as you go & that's what the first 4 Stars are for. However on the 5th Star 454K is the Golden Star Score for click/tap in order. Plus 40k each for Accuracy & Not using Hint = 534K. Speed is the variable for high scores. You lose 1k for each out of order you do. (In this case keeping your booster up is better than not.)
It's L to R but not always 1,2,3. In that you can start anywhere, eg: 2,3,1 is still L to R & in order. The Scene starts w/1 of the 3 highlighted, not necessarily the 1st nor does it haveto be picked first. (Using a hint finds the next item in game order) Cheers :)
@@rubyrelic6844 I'm trying to understand what they mean by 'Left'. The words are listed in three places and I understand reading left-to-right. But, I haven't noticed a consistent pattern. If I rigidly pick the left word, the middle word, and then the right-hand word, it doesn't always benefit me. There seems to be a hidden pattern because sometimes the timer doesn't start until the fourth word/item is found. But, for the life of me, I haven't figured out what that pattern is. It's seems changeable.
@@kirisalazar7488 When Pearl's Peril came out we noticed that if you constantly went from left to right.. your score was higher. If you went from right to left our just mixed up the articles, your score was lower. The same thing with JJ... click on the articles from left to right all the way through to the end and your score will be higher. I don't know why it works this say, I just know that with both games .. it is the same. Hope that helps.

I've tried item names listed left-to-right, items placed left-to-right, combinations where I find the first two named items and then switched when an item farther right comes up. There doesn't seem to be a one-fits-all rule to how to delay the timer. If there is a pattern, it escapes me.
@@kirisalazar7488 Are you talking about the bonus timer? That starts after the first couple items are found and runs down until you click an item. If it runs out before you click an item then you have to click a couple more to get it started again. That is the benefit to clicking items quickly, the timer does not run out.

What is good is learning American English for example in the uk a wall light is called a sconce in America, I did have to use the hint button the first time. And a American hand pin wheel we call a wind mill in the uk.
Left handers, I been told have a disadvantage they have trouble seeing the items listed in the bar below because their hand covers it.
I'm left handed but I'm not bad at finding items, you can memorise where they are on the scene as you play but I still have trouble seeing the items and getting higher scores by playing left to right.

I didn’t know that clicking items left to right mattered to improving my score. Hmmm. Yet I did learn a trick which maybe isn’t a trick. I will light touch the screen to get it bright and study it before I start touching the objects because that’s when the timer starts. I do this throughout the scene as new objects are gradually added. A nice preview and I say out loud what is there. It seems easier to remember that way than just acknowledging it’s there visually.
I do this too. I hate it when I’ve earned a star and when I go back, I jump right into the game instead of doing my review.

Ich habe erst angefangen zu spielen und die ersten 4 Szenen gespielt. Ich habe in allen 4 Szene 5 Sterne. Habe auch den Springbrunnen gebaut. Trotzdem habe ich in der Szene 4, das Level (damit meine ich den grünen Kreis der um die 1 läuft) nicht vollbekommen und kann wahrscheinlich deshalb nicht weiterspielen. Was kann ich tun, um in die 5. Szene zu kommen.
Ich finde das Spiel so toll, aber bin langsam verzweifelt, weil ich nicht weiter weiß und keine Hilfe finde.

You don't need real money, but you must meet the Flower requirements to progress. Try selling lower flower items, like grass, and replacing them with decorations that offer more flowers :)

I play on a Laptop with a Mouse and have place First on Many Scenes! AIn't easy, some days are just better than others, especially if a majority of Items are on the same side of the Scene! I am on Facebook, but appear in the game as CosmoBrown26. IDK how, it was picked for me and I love it!

Thank you April and Dario, it was nice to see in this video a resolution to the debate over 'does playing Left to Right make a difference', and now we can point to a video that tells us that it DOES. - For brand new people April and Dario are also on the official JJ Facebook pages, and over the years they have made many fun videos for us players, and it is such fun to see them.
Question for the developers. For those of us who have figured out these tips and consistently get 1st place on a scene, it would be fun to see a list of top 10 Leaders in an area. Showing how many 1st places have been earned. Or Better, create a scoring system, so 3 points for 1st 2 points for second and 1 for third. Group it by level or scene, so players can see how they stack up against the others playing in their region, group however you divvy things up. This last point would keep from those in scene 800 just destroying those in the 100’s. Just another way to add some competition for the players.
I would LOVE to see something like this, or an award or prize at the end of the year. I consistently score 662s and even have several 663s under my belt, I play on my phone though.

The bonus bar gets in the way of of hitting an object or locks the board.

Thank you for all of your tips. I love your help. I play left to right. But I play just the first 2 items all the way through. Then in the end I have the 3 final items. Then I do not have to try to look under my hand. I play on an iPhone.

#LoveJJ sometimes it is very difficult to see the very dark scenes on a phone. It is great to be able to play on a tablet or phone, when playing through a tablet or laptop with windows you have to go through Facebook which does make the game run slower. The Microsoft store does not offer JJ as a download. I hope this information is helpful.
I have a Samsung galaxy tablet that I got for my games and NEVER have to go thru FB or windows. It runs better/as good than any game did on my Samsung phone. Google Play has June's Journey 👍👍

Could someone clarify what the term "get items from left to right" means? Do they mean look for items on the left-hand side of the screen, or pick each item as listed of the words on the bottom from left to right? And, if the first word is found and then a new item appears, is that the left one we should look for? Or do we go First Word, Second Word, Third Word as if we take each bubble word in turn? No matter what I've tried, I only occasional see a result where the time starts on a delay, but I haven't figured out the system. The pattern seems to change each time. HELP!
Left to right; first, second and third, then repeat the same pattern until completed
The word boxes at bottom. Find the items in left to right order is all that means.
How come when you keep getting perfect score you never really get any good Rewards you know like one energy 1 compass or nothing but coins. . good score. good prizes prizes
I wondered the same thing. I purposely don't make perfect scores so I get better rewards!

This is very interesting, I had not noticed that yet but now will pay close attention and look for hitting higher rewards. The only other on my leaderboard is Jack anyway so there’s no need to try for a high score unless challenged to for a series of Perfects. I’d really like to keep more compasses coming in. Since I tend to try for Perfect scores in scenes that could be why it’s been so hard for me to accumulate the necessary compasses.

I’ve been playing since March 2020 and at the beginning I would get a “time out/ad” if I clicked on too many incorrect items in a row. I have improved but these 2 didnt mention it.

I play June's Journey on my PC. So If you have a desktop p/c here's what I do. Normally I have my page size set at 125%,. But when I play June's Journey, I minimize my screen down to 80% The smaller the screen size, the quicker you can move from object to object!!
