Update : I went back and looked through all the sheets and I found two more 9mm buttttt I didn’t find anymore of the 5.7 So they did make it out which is a common thing for them to do. I was shocked that 5 of them got stopped. Anyway just wanted to give u guys update on that. 🙃
When I shoot at events and occasionally when I go to my local range during public hours I wear my soft vest, (in door range so rare for 5.56 and 7.62x39mm but it does happen). I’ve never witnessed an accident that resulted in a serious injury but it has happened. Two years ago a doctor was shooting ISPC and fumbled his 2011 and shot himself in the liver and died before the ambulance showed up. His armour was in the parking lot and he could almost see his car from where he was laying. (He disabled his grip safety and technically it was his fault but he surely didn’t deserve to be injured or killed for his stupidity).

Mr. GnG tested a battle steal buffet 3a vest and it stopped everything from 5.7x28 to 500 magnum Barnes all copper 300 and something grain projectile. Best budget vest in my opinion.
You shot the 5-7 at the severily damaged vest. Your initial idea of switching the plates was right, but ultimately you'd decided to use the front one, which was a wrong decision. Had you switched the plates, there would've been no penetration from 5-7...
Side panels? Velcro should go from rear to front to make it easier to put on. "Hey, can you help me put my vest on?" Tough to reach back... NBD I guess. Try the Nitro XRT on the back panel with a broadhead! 😎 I'd like to see how an Evo-X CenterPunch works vs a fixed blade. I have not used the twin blade Evo-X yet. TenPoint tested 20 broadheads and they are the most accurate, but no clue how sturdy they are? "I'M READY!!!" .. LOVE your channel. Thanks.

Even if the bullet didn't penetrate the vest, wouldn't the impact energy be enough to stop the average person's heart? Especially after 10 shots to the mid-chest? Just wondering.
@Phil McCrevice you would probably still die from certain .44 rounds. A hot loaded 300 gr. would put a lot of energy into your chest, or abdominal cavity and probably rupture a lot of organs. Slow painful death.
