Once I find the woman to start having my kids, I’ll have her watch this show while she pregnant. And when the baby get here, I’ll have him/her watch this show. There’s so much to learn.
I have been watching brave wilderness and many other things but Videos from Jonathan are always the ones I look toward to! The quality is unbeatable! Good job Blue World crew
First question that comes to mind after every one of your videos is how do you not have millions of subscribers? Your videos are world class and always fun and interesting. Thank you for all of your hard work and efforts in bringing your adventures to us!
Wow, what good range of examples to share and express life of sea lions and a little of captivity natures. Let’s thank all the trainers where ever they are.❤️😎❤️
I really like your videos and the passion you put to them. Last summer I got PADI certified mainly because of you! Can't wait to explore the blue world around the world :P
Sea lions really do have their own world down there underwater. Being able to swim with such agility, up and down while making sharp turns is amazing to watch, it’s like they’re able to fly while in the ocean exploring. It’s funny how elegant they can swim, but on land they look pretty clumsy and out of their element
Loved this video, thank you. I sometimes get to swim with seals near where I live. They're a bit stinky, but very sweet. Also, was Coco blind in one eye?
I really hope it reaches that many. This deserves so much more attention. I’ll always follow you! I appreciate your videos sooo much, always bringing a smile to my sad face (:
I think how Jonathan records * Records the video *puts voice over the footage *adds different parts from other videos for its intro *edits to make the blue world sight *puts a robot Jonathan for his famous quote Hi! I’m Jonathan Bird and welcome to my World! *then adds music over the voice
Thank you so much for these videos. They make us smile, they make us tear up. But in a good way. Your videos are a peaceful getaway from the nightmare going on around us.God Bless you, your crew, and may you have many more safe encounters with our non-human friends, and discover wonderful new things we've yet to see. "Birds The Word" in groovy animal encounters. Peace Be The Journey
You gotta love the whole animals in captivity thing. They won't feed sea lions a potentially contaminated fish but they hose poop into the pool? Weird. I know chlorine kills many contaminants but I know that captive dolphins have died from fecal contamination causes. Its crazy that they actually show this. Anyway, I love your videos. I'm obsessed with marine life 💖💕💘
What is considered a ‘challenge’ to a male sea lion? There are several here in Dublin harbour bay, curious if sailing into one of their regions would be antagonistic?
I never know wether its ethical or not to keep animals in captive... Little worried about that... Does anyone have an opinion about that? Would like to hear!
Guilherme generally I believe it's ethical as long as the conditions are good. Animals in the wild don't explore and swim throughout the entire ocean, usually they designate an area as their territory so as long as that ample space is given to them, they arent physically mistreated and they get food, I figure an animal may prefer the safety of an aquarium to the wild. But there's no way to know for sure so thats always a good question to think about.
This is a very complicated issue and everyone has an opinion. My feeling is that having a few animals like this in captivity is good because it's the only place most people will ever get to see these animals alive and in person, which helps to create interest and passion for them. If nobody ever saw a sea lion or a dolphin except on TV or in a book, would they really care that much about them?
Exactly, i agree that zoos and aquariums are great for environmental education, as long as they are not animals that would swim a lot, and wont be able to do this in captive, like @throw away said. Actually, it is really hard to determin a point that separates good and bad captivity, but i think it is vital to observe the physical and mental health of the animal... If sea lions are cool about being trained, thats great for people to be amazed, but in the same time there is the example of orcas, wich i think dont do well on captivity...
I don't know, but I'd guess that (1) there's probably already poop in the water anyway (2) It's probably all really diluted by the water (3) That water is going to be treated and (4) the sea lions don't ingest the water the way they do the fish so it's less of an issue.
@@bemusedbandersnatch2069 Yep, I think you've got it. Where do people think Sea Lions usually defecate? And those cute Belugas never come out of the water.
So adorable, so playful... So fun to chase heehee!!! Sharky xxx... Easy now, we don't eat endangered species... I said CHASE, not catch!!! Sharky xxx... Ok, just don't freak them out. Be nice, anyway, sea lions are adorable!!!

Must be so amazing diving with them
They are super fun. And you don't need to dive. Even snorkeling with them is a blast!
BlueWorldTV where can I snorkel with them????
Hi
My family and I once saw sea lions and fur seals in California and they came very close to the humans like the ones living in the Galapagos Islands.
I love underwater life
These Sea Lions are so Cute when the Trainers are Teaching them do some tricks, 😊

I love sea lions!
The food servers inspecting the food carefully to prevent sea lions from getting sick. However, their poop goes back to the pool where they swim??
Where do you think sea lions usually defecate? Yep, same with those cute Belugas.
Late and yay sea lions and yay Connecticut
Love your videos!
Now That must be fun!
Hey, John, love your videos. They have inspired me to pursue in getting my Padi Open Water Certification. Keep it up!
Sweeeeet!

I did the same thing at the mystic aquarium as you did
I really enjoyed that thanks
my boy jonathan
Wow. Such a good video! I love it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What are the advantages of those rebreather style regulators diverting your bubbles to the back?
Watch our doublehose regulator "tools of the trade" video
I think these animals should be called Sea Dogs or Sea Puppies due to their playful personality, intelligence, and even appearance.
How many seal did you see? I went to an aquarium to see some
CUTE!!!!!!!!
Great video 😊 beautiful stuff here
I love your work u.u
interesting you didnt mention keeping animals in captivity as a negative or cruel, how do you feel about this?
Alex Welland
It’s not so bad for pinniped, because they’re smaller (than whales), and normally spend a lot of time at or near the shore.
can you do a video on the britannic's ship wreck?
Wow ...
It has defiantly been over a few days considering most dies are around 30 min and you have over a 100 vids
funniest vid i've seen so far XD
Blowing bubbles is a sign of hostility for sea lions so they just naturally think diver are squaring up I guess
How long can the sea lion last out of the water
There awesome and just like dogs!!! My dog takes control over my house.
Cuuuttteee❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
SOOO COOL
"Hi I'm Jonathan, I'd shake your hand but ew" Damn it you kill me every time you open your mouth 😂 Love it!!
Sea lions are cool
Hey Jonathan do you think you’ll make a video on Black Marlins
What is considered a ‘challenge’ to a male sea lion? There are several here in Dublin harbour bay, curious if sailing into one of their regions would be antagonistic?
Not generally. No sea lions in Ireland...you have seals.
That would make a lot more sense haha, many thanks!
I never know wether its ethical or not to keep animals in captive... Little worried about that... Does anyone have an opinion about that? Would like to hear!

I have wondered as well but I think having animals in captivity has saved some species

Watching them perform tricks for food is very sad. I'd rather go to Galapagos and see them in the wild.
I have a question about sea lions, how far can they jump out of the water?
Not sure on that one.
Can you make a video with otter
Hey Jonathan what is the biggest creature u have seen so far, is it the humpback whale?
Yes! :-)
I have seen my fair share of large animals, the largest one I have seen so far is a Napoleon wrasse I literally saw it a week ago on friday
Love it
Discovery/NatGeo better give you your own show and fast.
They take such care to prevent feeding any infected fish to the seals, and then they hose the poop back into the pool.
LOL....that's a good point!
I wonder why they do that
I don't know, but I'd guess that (1) there's probably already poop in the water anyway (2) It's probably all really diluted by the water (3) That water is going to be treated and (4) the sea lions don't ingest the water the way they do the fish so it's less of an issue.

I Love How They Ork Ork Ork Ork Ork!!!!!
Instead of calling them see Lion maybe you should call them see dogs
That's actually what they're called in German.
How long do you think you have spent underwater jonathan
More than 3,000 dives at an average of about an hour per dive....
BlueWorldTV dang
BlueWorldTV I just now did the math and it came out to you have spent over 3 months under water
BlueWorldTwoa
So adorable, so playful... So fun to chase heehee!!! Sharky xxx... Easy now, we don't eat endangered species... I said CHASE, not catch!!! Sharky xxx... Ok, just don't freak them out. Be nice, anyway, sea lions are adorable!!!
That's so funny when we dove at roberg in Plettenberg bay we just got into a massive school of seals

I'm wearing a wireless mac under my shirt. It picks up my voice and transmits it to the receiver on the camera.
@@BlueWorldTV that’s really cool.
