If the price difference is substantial, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with the original S4. If the price difference is small, I'd lean towards the Mk2.
Yeah I'm seeing new S4's go for 200 US dollars less than the MK2s, so I'm recommending the average person to save their money. Honestly tho if you wanna use it for gigging, the separate booth volume is pretty clutch though (on the MK2)

Yes you can connect your Ipad directly to the S4 Mk2 and DJ on it. No problemo. Not what I would normally consider useful since 16 GB memory doesn't contain enough space for my library.
At 5:00 you say you can go down to the second row of samppes/remix deck slots, how do you do that because when I press SHIFT and"1" (pad #1) it deletes the sample, doesn't go to the second row... How do I browse the samples without using my mouse?! HELP
Traktor's internal recording function works fine with the S2. It's all handled in the software.

Is it worth getting this one or the original s4 for quite a bit cheaper. I am really torn, i more then likely will not use traktor dj with a ipad.

The new one is 799$ american and i am seeing the older one for about 350 to 400$ american so more then twice the price.
