As a Bucs fan I admire Dungy. But in my eyes he really cost us a dynasty. He built a defense that was phenomenal. But his offense always held us back. With a defense that strong the Bucs should have made at least 3 super bowls during the late 90s and early 2000s. Dungy tried year after year with different offensive coordinators but always failed. So we trade away 4 high draft picks for Jon Gruden who retooled the offense just in time for the playoffs and Super Bowl. Don't hate on Gruden. He salvaged at least one Lombardi trophy from a lost era.
