- This is an expository documentary on Ogun O Jalu: The Invincible Force Behind Ogbomoso.
Ogun Ọ̀ Jàlú Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́ (literally means war does not invade Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́) is a fortification/protective for Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́ (an ancient Yorùbá town near Ilorin) traced to middle 19th century, allegedly around 1840s.
This monumental shrine or historical monument shields Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́ against wars, notably the then Fulani army.
There are lots of thoughts, views and concerns about Ogun Ọ̀ Jàlú Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́. Some believe it has negative adverse on Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́, humans were used for its sacrifice and many others.

This is real educative and i give kudos to whosoever that has put these together. However, i don't think sharing it's on social media is necessary, reason being that, the Fulanis are still waging war against some parts of Oyo State till now and don't forget that a problem known is already a problem solved. Who would think that IFE and MODAKEKE can fight, who will ever imagined that IFON and ILOBU can fight, Abi who will think that OFFA and ERIN ILE can fight, and among others. War is not predictable, though we dont pray for it but we need to be very careful.There is no any Ogbomoso's indigene who doesn't know 30% to 50% of Ogun Ojalu's history and it's not only OGBOMOSO that has a sacre places Ogun Ojalu . Pease wisdom is profitable to direct and we.need to be very careful not to expose our power.
