I think that might be the first time I have seen your Dad in the milking parlour. Keeping corrosion at check is an important part in the longevity of any piece of equipment and often gets overlooked. He obviously has a great eye for detail.

Great video Jan! Awesome seeing your Dad in the parlor. Impressed with the repair to the neck rail. Penelope has some lovely spots on her. Congrats on the new heifer. Hope she's just as happy and productive as her mother. Best wishes for all your calves. Good quick clean of the weigh bridge. 350kg of snow. Amazing. Thanks for the video!

Jan you certainly are a knowledgeable young man. Seems like there is nothing on that farm you don't know about. It will be in good hands when or if your parent s retire. I'm an old guy familiar with older farming methods and cannot believe how much technology is involved in farming now. Of course it is a two edged sword as far as having to maintain technology too. Enjoy your videos.
By the way I don't know if you got my message about the gifts. I don't have telegram so could not respond that way. Thanks anyway for the consideration. Jim

I used to own a pressure washing company. I would not use a zero degree tip including a whirlygig zero degree it is too destructive. At 4500 PSI it will cut through a rubber boot. Put a quick change adapter at the end of the wand and use 15, 10, or 5 degree tips.

It keeps the cows from laying to far into the bed, so that when they poop, less manure will end up in the bed, and more manure will be in the alley. Reducing the amount of bed cleaning that needs to be done, and reducing the chances of mastitis.
