Akira Rocks the dude is fucking huge i dont think its beyond his capabilities to lift a bike or the rear of a car. i guess they used wires for safety reasons because he is getting old but i dont doubt he can actually do it. my dad used to lift em from the rear and the side. he had a mechanic shop and when all the jacks and lifts were in use. he would lift em up by himself and have s1 stick a stick a jack stand under it. he wasnt nearly as big as john so its not impossible for that niggah to lift the rear of a car by himself.
There is a movie called Shiva, starred by Nargarjuna. The sound effects in that movie during fight sequence is just awesome, you must watch that movie only for fight scenes, it actually changed how the fight scenes were shot, especially the sound effects. If Sholay movie changed the action in Indian cinema then Shiva movie changed the sound effects used in fight scenes.
John had a better body, extremely toned and lean muscles when he was a bit younger. I feel like he took something for this movie because he gained too much mass and his facial features started looking weird. Check him out in Goal and this, there's a huge difference. Vidyut is younger and has a more lean muscular body that John used to have and looks amazing too. I think these two are good in action, Akshay Kumar used to be the best in action throughout his entire career because he is a black belt too but now they make movies that are cheesy even when doing action. Out of everyone, Akshay should not have done that because he always had these macho action roles and was great at them.

Just to clear some stuff why Vidyut the villain would rip the chest is. In the movie John was shot and he was in hospital. He then comes for his wife who is killed by Vidyut. He is ripping actually is attacking the unhealed fresh bullet shot of johns. You can see the bandage on his chest.
He was not ripping his chest off and the gauze didn't miraculously appear... John was actually shot in the movie before this fight scene and he had a bandage on for that. The villain knew that and he just pressed the wound really hard to hurt him.
Oh jaby! how long i have waited for this, john is clearly not the most versatile actor, but he has made the action genre his own, the main reason i like him is that he is a complete gentelman, doesnot take part in any bollywood politics, does commercial movies so that he can go on to produce good quality movies like vicky donor and madras cafe, also he is actually very intelligent, holds an MBA degree, and is a guy's GUY... loves bikes cars and football also working out!
Jaby, you needed a little backstory to get some of the things in the video. 1. The anger shown on John's face is because his wife was killed brutally and Vidyut sticks a gun at his head after that 2. The Gauss bandages were there because in a prior scene in the movie, John is shot twice and is hospitalised. 3. Vidyut doesn't tear into his skin, he repeatedly hits John where he was already wounded 4. This was meant to be a brawn vs technique scene where Vidyut loses his composure after being thrown like a rag doll.
