I love how you can see the mindset irelia players have. They know exactly how disgusting their champion is so they get used to diving you without consequences. Seeing them ragequit puts a smile on my face.
indead, if they do die once they have to get a return kill asp or their ego cant handle it, had a blind pick mach up as ad blitz top against a set once, got a lucky pull in to turret once but when i hit lvl 6 his whole shield tower dive combo did not work against me and he got himself killed 4 times trying the same thing..
Oh that kind of things goes for Riven, Rengar and plenty of other assassin picks, but yeah, there's something special about Irelia in this case.
@@medic4903 I've never seen Rengars like that, they usually are more calm, on top, on jg they sometimes are dicks or safe and help others

@@thememelord6510 well he did get solo killed like 2 times in lane before kin was unwinable big. As a toplaner if you get soloed and can't carry a game off your lead you can't play top.

@@thememelord6510 it was very unlikely he would win, BUT if you want to ever be in high elo you always blame yourself for not getting leads or ahead. Fastest way to improve is critically go over your gameplay . Not your teams, they all suck so you'll just have a truck full of excuses to reach for.

This happened to me too, I picked Irelia and he brought Alistar. I couldn't do anything about it, but I remained positive, didn't flame him, and in the end I could get some kills in teamfights. Although we didn't win in the end, I still kinda had fun and that's what matters the most.

I loved playing Alistar top. It has 0 dmg, even compared to other tanks that are usually played top, but a lot of cc and quite safe too. Never played it with ignite tho, looks like it makes quite a difference in killing people solo. Also, premade with a jungler makes almost every gank a kill after lvl3

I've achieved 200k mastery playing AP Alistar just like this midlane, barely csing, but still a tank with ulti and can start oneshotting with 2 or 3 items
What runes do you take?
Electrocute/Sudden Impact/Ghost Ward/Omnivamp or Movespeed
Triumph/Coup De Grace
You won't cs well by any means, just survive until you get to level 4 or 5 then you can start trading for half the enemy's HP, your next full combo will kill, or your JGler can clean up.

Awesome games to watch. Just a note, if you have an enemy up against a wall like you did on the Aatrox tower dive, you can W, auto and then Q to extend the CC chain considerably, with a sheen the damage is also pretty decent.
I'm wondering if Prowler's Claw help to get behind target to W it into tower without using flash could work? But it don't have any tank stats on it.

What I think happened was a sort of mandatory reflex check at 1:20 into her getting cocky after the level 1 trade. She then knew she'd hit 2 first, and knew that Alistar isn't a "real" champion at level 1. She then misjudged the distance when she hit 2, taking the turret shot. The final nail in the coffin was Ignite, which she may not have even checked or respect that you had. Everything after that, as they say, is history.
That perfectly explains why it's called "inting", short for being intentional. Feeding =/= inting. We all have rough games, regardless of how careful you play. That's feeding, when you're completely out played. But playing dumb, being greedy and handing them kills? Inting.
I played like a dozen of rankeds with Alistair in previous season, and with decent effect. Yeah, the farm from solo lane makes him amazingly tough. What I liked also is bulidin liandry, which no longer is viable sadly. I think solo lane Ali fell behind with that change.
Anyway, if you wanna try it, remember to avoid ranged, but not squishy champion. Cause you can bully something like vayne, but not GP or Morde (by ranged i mean also ranged abilities)
Another tip - electrocute works nicely for bullying squishes. Going in for short burst and backing away, over and over again. Take grasp for tanks and bruisiers.

loved the vid , i used to play ali top a lot before his rework , he worked fine with old trinity and tiamat combo and ap alistar was fun af too , id love to main him as tank but being too team dependant hurts a lot many times

I tried this build in normal pvp in wild rift. Surprisingly it went well against Darius and an even matchup against Vayne. Gotta have ignite active though for that extra damage.
