    Bet the original Toshiba lifts at the Marriott hotel (Tangs Plaza) used to look like this before they were modded by KONE in the 1990s.

      yes there is a service lift hidden deep within the building used only by staff, it had die-cut indicators on the outside

    Thanks for this footage. Really wanted to see what the original was like. Also it looks like those huge arrows are retained after the mod, unless if they have been replaced with something identical

      The arrows were retained only for the office lifts; those on the passenger ones were replaced when ThyssenKrupp modernized them in 2002
