Stability and peace in the region can only be achieved when China ceases its aggressive actions in the South China Sea, Taiwan Strait, and the LAC' Columnist Sana Hashmi says in this weeks #EyeOnChina

China claims some parts of India which is a state named Arunachal Pradesh saying that this a part of south tibet but how absurd it is even to think cause Tibet is not even China's part it was annexed by them they even have occupied some indian land .
The main reason is not they want the south tibet part (and it is also not a part of tibet they are just claiming it .)
They want that land cause of it's water, the Bramhputr river orignates from Himalayas and enter india from china side but it gets majority of it's water from Arunachal Pradesh so they want it desperately.
They try to show that they are really dominant by changing names of villages near boarder and building ghost towns in their territory just near boarders .
We indians will never let China invade and capture any more indian land under the leadership of Nationalist party .

Perhaps Doctor ,it is India that looks to look into a mirror first.India wants to be given special status over others. This I feel is a hangover from your caste system.Let me give you examples as to why I say this:
    1) At The UN.Your representative keeps on asking time and time again for India to be given permanent seat in UNSC with VETO powers ,yet always complain that the UNSC is not effective. I agree that the Veto powers is not fair, then ask for it to be removed ,not by asking to be given a seat there yourself. Is that not selfish ?
    2) Remember the interview between Prof John Mersheimer and Palki Sharma of Firstpost. All she is interested ids tht Mersheimer acknowledge India as a superpower and you she how her face changes when he said aspiring superpower, not superpower !
    3) During the G 20 meet in Papua New Guinea,Indian media trumpeting that the Prime Minister of PNG touched the foot of PM Modi. That was an insult to PNG.
These are true events and show the true nature of a counttry's psyche

Political India was not been there, because of several kingdoms. But even these kings to the ordinary people had a thorough idea about Bharath or cultural India. That's why the whole Indian kings from kanyakumari to Kashmir participated in the Mahabharatha war, either in the side of pandavas or Kauravas.
I'm a Keralite. Kerala was not even a state (it consists 6 to 7 kingdoms) or a part of India before 1947. But our 300 to500 old texts and scholars praised the glory and Divinity of Bharath. ( ഭാരതമഹിമ ) That's why when India got independence in 1947 the people of Kerala kingdoms roamed into the streets and forced their Kings to join in the Indian Union.
See, around 2000 years ago a sage established 4 Muts in 4 corners of Bharath to proclaim the unity of India.
The saint was Sankaracharya who was born and brought up in Kerala. How's that 😊

It has long been China's stance that "Put the border disputes aside, let us cooperate on everything else. "
An emerging power like India cannot let its development be kidnapped by border disputes.
Look at Japan and S. Korea. These two East Asia neighbors can sit down for negotiations and cooperations, despite of their long time disputes over the sovereignty of the Liancourt Rocks in the sea between them. That is political wisdom and diplomatic maturity on full display.
Other countries such as China and India can definitely learn from S. Korea and Japan to manage their difference on borders, LAC, or whatever, and develop their relationship for the benefit of the economy and people.
The US doesn't want to see BRICS countries developing fast together. They'd rather see the two neighboring Asian giants fighting, hurting and weakening each other, to maintain their domination in Indo-Pacific for their own geopolitical interests.
