I think I have only died a few dozen times total, to actual deaths that were my fault. I have died hundreds upon hundreds, possibly thousands of times to game bugs and server glitches.
Actualy, to have flashing warning lights if a ship is about to self destruct would be a treat. The suspense to hurry up and rush while boarding an enemy ship and storming defensive positions would be great!
I just love that the pilot in the first Polaris, managed to activate the Self Destruct before getting donked by Voidy, and actually ended up killing everyone. Its glorious!
You're not wrong to feel that way. Just keep in mind that the first 30 ish days after a quarterly update are always rougher. As the .x patches come out, and it will get into a better state in months 2-3, and then it starts over again. So totally fine if you want to wait another few months and check back in but jeep in mind that whenever the next major patch hits and everyone gets hyped that it will probably breaks parts of the game again. They will need to continue to iterate on meshing to improve performance as its a very different beast for them to optimize now that they are running 10 servers per shard. Cheers.

I thought the self destruct had a noise that plays the whole time until it explodes. Sure you can only hear it from the bridge, but whenever I use self destruct, there’s an alarm that plays
Speaking of overbuying... I know of someone who clicked maximum when buying couches. 🤣 He had so many couches his home inventory was overfilled! He was glad when 4.0 came and wiped out his inventory.
Today my bro decided to check if his character still gets killed, wheneher he drinks or eats. Turned out new update on preview client, fixed the issue. So we jumped in to play. No hangar elevators at Area 18 worked. So we switched to play Enshrouded instead, to craft few things and do some stuff. Then we switched again to SC. New shard, still elevators don't work. Yup. Star Citizen exp for me last few months. Basically since 3.24 hit (and then it's iterations and THEN 4.0 preview), this became unplayable. Well it had it moments before, but you could had 4h sessions with only minor bugs here and there. Lately it's game braking bug every god damn 15 minutes.
Elevators and servers are so hit and miss on 4.0. one day I literally switched servers 6 times on ruin, and all of them seemed quite fresh but got completely borked after like 5min. Some soft lock issue there ig. On other days I played hours without problems. But that always also further away from major locations
@@frogger2011ify It's a nice change of pace after SC. I'm currently 100h in, just just unlocked Highlands and in the middle of building my new sky base above pillars of creation.

i put my sticks away today, had enough for a few weeks. locked out for 2 weeks over Chriatmas, and now locked out and stuck in Orison. its as bad as i can ever remember SC being in 3 years of playing, and worse than 3.18. still my favourite game ever, despite all the bugs, but not fit for human consumption right now.
I may not like PvP, but I love the excitement of when it actually happens. Thanks for portraying the view from the other side of the fence. It was hilarious too bad a server error ruined your day.

Man the Cyberdim in the ship passenger list was me 🤣!! So it was only 6 people, as I boarded the Polaris at the space station, waiting for her to depart and kill the pilot as soon as we hit deep space 😆 But I saw there was to many people to take down, so I left the ship. Good thing I left after all 😅

I think Palaris owners are pay-to-survive players. Or just players that have more money than time. It takes me years to make 50 million in game. And no, I don't own a Polaris. I do have a number of smaller more soloable ships...

I think it’s safe to give up on the game now lol. They did nothing at all last year after promising the world. And we’re a month into a new year and we still don’t have things that were promised last year. They’re trying to make the game work. On both versions of the game lol
My favorite part is that he can't maneuver when someone is shooting back. After evasive action, he turns right back into his own targeter's PIP and takes another volley of laser fire. There are piloting infants in this game, and the ceiling is so high.
Lol it was not "350 grand" for 111 c54 mags; it was 13-50k, depending on location. Unless he actually got 1000 mags instead of 100. Or he got 111 c54 (which would only be 255-300k in pyro). Also, you can sell an entire stack by just clicking "sell", and selecting max on the bottom of the slider, instead of quick sell, which will only do them one at a time. And even if it was guns, you can put them all in a box and sell it (not quicksell) at a cargo deck to sell the box and everything inside. :)
Anecdote-Citizen my friend, literally crashed in this video. For every one person having a playable experience there are 9 unable to play or do anything in the game. Just look at this comment section or any other SC community platform.

Voidy disable life support on the polaris after you board it to disable spawning in it...... and maybe smashing into your teammates is a bad idea
