Nice video, thanks. Actually the two boats have only roughly half a meter difference in hull length. But this and the 26cm beam length make a huge difference in the overnighting comfort, I believe. I also find another important difference, on the basis of the technical data and if my back of the envelope calculations are correct, the 795 should have substantially higher mileage range with one fill-up.
In the UK and much of the EU a big difference is you can trailer the 695 on a basic car licence, but the 795 just hits the threshold of needing a HGV (Heavy Good Vehicle) licence. It's why the 7m versions of boats (and the Antares 7, Parker 700) or the smaller versions are so incredibly popular in Europe. If you're not trailering but leaving dockside, dock rack, or you're trailering in a country where it's legal (I've heard some parts of US, Canada, Australia) the larger versions offer SO much more.
@@Steve-jq4st WOW!! That is CRAZY EXPENSIVE!!! How do you like 795 so far, if you don’t mind me asking? And also, what’s the annual maintenance cost? Do you know? Thanks again! 🙏
One 'A/C on the hook' option is to rely on a small A/C + self-contained inverter, (eg Zero Breeze), curtain off the berth, and have a cool night's sleep. Recharging the inverter is the puzzle. Option #2 is to rely on a portable inverter-generator (e.g. Honda EU2200), hoping it can support the A/C compressor start-up. In the U.S. Jeanneau is now importing every 705 already set up for A/C: thru-hull, strainer, 2nd 30A AC connector and ducting.
You could buy a 695 AND a 795 for half a million, but I take your point. They aren't tinnies, but then again boating is the best way to get rid of money quick,🤣

Very informative I’ve been thinking of getting a 795 this makes my mind up
Make sure you tell the dealer that the Rudder helped out!! Won't get you anything but good for them to know!! 😄

Interesting and good to know.
Can a diesel generator for A/C be installed in both vessels?
I know an A/C is standard factory but that is shore powered, unfortunately not sure about diesel A/C. I know there is a diesel heater as factory.
There are batteries available from factory to run ac but when I ordered our 795 the batteries were about $25k. Not interested at that price.

What happened to the previous video/comments?
There was a error in the video, unfortunately needed to re-upload.
Just under a half million dollars Out Of Reach for most people
