Slimane faut apprendre l'anglais là !!!
Parler anglais ne fait de vous une personne plus intelligente, plus efficace et plus intéressante. Hugo, Zola, Vian, Hausmann, Eiffel, Delacroix, Monet, Barbara, Piaf ne savaient pas dire 'bonjour" en anglais et cela ne les a pas empêché de faire rayonner la France dans le monde. La France, maintenant est à la traîne depuis que l'anglais s'est imposé dans les sphères : politique, économique, culture...Ne soyez pas complexé de ne pas maîtriser la langue de Shakespeare : la langue française est aussi belle
PS : je parle couramment l'anglais : j'ai vécu plusieurs années dans un pays anglo-saxon.

As a French person, may I suggest manually adding an English subtitle translation to Slimane's sentences? The live translation was a mess and did not represent his words at all 😅

I like that he spoke French and then the interpreter translated. I wanted to listen to the French without someone talking all over it.
@@ar50000 agreed, hence the subtitles. To hand it to the guy live interpretation is incredibly hard but it's a job for a reason.

I really like his approach to Eurovision that he brings not only name, but also song (although, by the time of this comment, we have not known the song yet; hopefully it will also be in a good package with the staging as well). that's how a big artist should perceive Eurovision. Only having a big name does not really bring good result: "good" package does (plus how accessible it is to wider audience). a good example in recent years is Australia's first-ever Eurovision entry in 2015.
