What great timing. I'm currently reading Dalton's book on Roosevelt and it has me hooked. I don't know if it's the man or the book, but it makes me want to read more presidential biographies.
Great reading list Steve! I will have to come back and write down books and authors with a second watch. I have several of these books and have read some of them. I agree with a lot of your choices. Some of these presidents I just haven’t read a biography on. I will have to alleviate that. Thanks for the list.
I agree with your anger over those who will respond to the death of Jimmy Carter by posting “good” online. I voted for the man and believe he is a decent man. In the Oval Office he was pretty good but unlucky. When DT finally shuffles to his long home, we know how we will respond, but we won’t post it. Great helpful list.
I did not think Carter was a successful President but I certainly admire him as a very good and decent man. He did have some accomplishments while in office but I think he was poorly served by several of his top aides. They were arrogant and alienated many members of Congress including many in his own party, e.g. Tip O'Neil- Speaker of the House!
Rutherford B. Hayes? Surely, you mean Rutherfraud B. Hayes! P.S. Some men are born to greatness, some men have greatness thrust upon them and some men are from Ohio.

Now we need the same type of video but with all the Roman Emperors!!
I’ve been looking forward to this list since 2016! Thanks Steve. I’ll be going about seeking these out.
The list I've waited for!

"Grover Cleveland spanked me on two non-consecutive occasions." is one of my favorite lines from the Simpsons.
Heee. Yes! And along the same Presidential lines, there's of course also "Heh. Taft, you old dog!"
Thank you for sharing the list with us!
Awesome list!

I agree about the aides.

No need to be so depressed I think it's unlikely Biden will be reelected. This nightmare will end hang in there!
