How do you press the hood, doors etc to the 2 holes? The pins are so tiny, and are glued quite loosely to the sides, if you pressed them wouldn’t they fall off?

One time, I tried to make something like this with a hot wheels car but then after a lifetime and a half I was done, except..... There was a crap ton of panel gaps, when I saw the gaps I got Soo mad that I just broke it in half, not to mention the 3d printing of the bodykit was just down bad, I want to try again but idk where to start
