Steve, i have to say all this to make a Strong Point. I played college ball All-America. i played NBA summer league , didn't make the roster for training camp.went overseas for 5 years and balled. The point you are making about Brunson beating them is Damn crazy. Nick Nurse hasn't come up with a game plan to force someone else to beat you, which is driving me nuts. I can game plan that. There's no way he would get all those buckets. Every time the pick for him ,it would be a trap on his lil A&&. But you have to have the others hustling to get to other shooters. I was also first team All D twice pg 6'6" .D was my passion. So yea, how they are playing him is not working.
Great comment my man and I agree with you. Im sire you know a ton about this game. It doesnt make sense to me how easy they make it for Brunson when he comes off a screen. There is no urgency, but like you said, it requires hustle and a "Want To" from the entire team to have good rotations on D, etc. I only played and coached high school ball, but how can you just continue to watch someone end your season without doing ANYTHING differently? I get that they have shooters and other guys to worry about, but would letting Anunoby and others shoot to beat you be a better idea? Its wild to me.
Tough loss on brunson in OT bro. I decided to stay away and focus on college baseball today. Overs is where its at for me, just FYI! Strongly suggest looking into the top 5 teams. Alot of those top 5 teams are cashing in the first half of ball games. Over 13.5 no typo. The books have been stingy with the totals, so you gotta stay on top before the games start. Best of luck tom! Let's get em!
