If you think this video deserves a thumbs up lets really slam those buttons to offset that one thumbs down!! GO!!
Hi Dave. Thank you for your video. My wife and I are going full time in January this coming year with our Volvo RV Hauler and 47' New Horizons. We will also travel with a Ford Bronco (not on the bed of the truck). One of the main reasons we wanted to not haul a vehicle (i.e. Smart Car) is we want to be able to check out new (to us) campgrounds with the Bronco prior to committing the monster of a truck and trailer we will have. We will not travel long distances between spots and will be staying in each spot for longer durations. Best, Chris
I think it's really handy to be able to drive the smaller vehicle instead of the big truck and small towns. If it works for you, that's all that counts. Lynn and Danny
What is nice you can take the car on to a camp ground to see if your rig will fit in the space of your space .all your videos are awesome . Denis from Santa Rosa Ca
Goood video with some very good points and numbers to justify traveling with an additional vehicle!!! Never thought about that as we are FT’s with a 48ft 5ver. My wife misses her car, she isn’t a big fan of driving the dooly around town. I won’t let her see this video😂😂
I could provide the "Route" miles but that would not include the miles for touring around. I will keep that in mind for the next one like this. Thanks for the input.

Thanks, Dave, exactly what we needed as we begin thinking about the same question.
Absolutely, hope it helped shed some light. .
7:27 now that makes sense 👍

First off congrats on the fulltime adventure!! Yup, having that second car to scout ahead is another great reason. Hey thanks for stopping in.

Yup, for us there are many pluses to having a second car and thanks for the kind words on the videos.
perfectly normal towing doubles out here in the west
Yes, we see that a lot but it wouldn't be for us. Besides the year Honda we have isn't allowed to be towed 4 down.

LOL,,, we will be sure to not send her a link to this video, thats funny.
Come on Dave. Tell the real truth. Diane likes her "Diane" time without you.
Well you just might have something there, I think it's best if we don't ask her about that.
😂
If you had miles driven per year this information would be more useful. We could compare apples to apples.
