LBC has become troublesome for me to follow, because I know how poorly Saint was treated. But I like the series itself better than TharnType, apart from the obvious rape scene. I just can't get over how romanticized the sexual assaults are. This is typical for the author of the novels, though. A lot of abuse in her novels is romanticized. She wrote an entire novel about a stalker successfully raping and gaslighting his crush after 3 years of stalking him, and getting away with it, because "he loves him so much" All of this doesn't mean I didn't enjoy TharnType the series. It just means I don't agree with Tharn sexually assaulting Type several times and not seeing anything wrong with it.
After 2gether, TharnType was the second BL series that I was able to watch... but it was definitely the series that sky-rocketed my standards to call a BL series "great"... and up until now, only one series met my expectations after TTTS...
