Installing one of these soon, Husky unit bit the dust. Kinda disappointed with the Husky it's totally seized, only had it for maybe 5-6 years.

This one replaced the same model which was only 5 years old. I looked up the issue online and nobody seemed to have the issue we had so I figured we just had a dud. They have good reviews.

Great video thanks. My manual crank bit the biscuit, time to make life easier! 😁

Thanks! I was a little worried about doing this install myself but it looks like its pretty easy. All of the info was clear, concise and is much appreciated.

It's pretty easy to do. No mechanical experience necessary. Go for it!

Admittedly I do not have a trailer ;) But I love the camera angles you use to show proper visuals with the editing tools at your disposal. It makes the video an easy and enjoyable watch!

my wife asked me to install one of these. I don't think a Power Tongue Jack is what she thinks it is.

Why did you replace the electric Jack that came with the trailer.

It kept blowing the 30A fuse and made a heck of a racket when running. Often it wouldn't work at all unless I punched it a few times. My hand was getting sore.😁

Feel confident after watching the video to do a replacement on our power tongue jack. (I'll be back to let you know how it goes) The video is to the point and clear. Thank you

if you are lazy (like me) , you can connect the power directly to the battery .

As always an interesting well done video. I’ve watched all your camping videos and enjoyed every one. Great format you two have developed. Just a couple of points, the “junction box” is a circuit breaker and one, or a fuse should always be used between the battery and the load, as well as a properly terminated wire. Any movement of the wire could cause it to rub through the insulation so your suggestion of lots of wire ties is important. Waiting for you next video ! Keep them coming !

5/24. Thanks for the lesson. You made it easy. Getting rid of a not so Smart Jack. Good details like the size of socket for the bolts. 70F. Yes I can do this. 👍 and subscribed

@@CampingwiththeColesjust installed it. Had to mount it sideways so the back door of the vehicle would open. Had to extend the cord using some of the old wire. All good. Thank you! 70F.
