Now it must be said that Daley is by far one of my favorite TH-camrs and he has really gotten me into men of war and even arma with his times with sorensic but sometimes on these bigger battle I can't help but notice he tends to really embrace the meat grinder aspect a bit too much. The first push on the mortar pits around the 50 min mark, while more of a sacrifice was the perfect plan, but he could've use the vehicles more efficiently if he amassed the whole force on the airfield out of artillery range then gone for the real push. It's not like I could do much better considering my lack of overall skill with rts games but it leaves a bit to wish for when you think of the crazy assault he could've had with the majority of the infantry together facing the mountain instead of trickling in smaller squads to their death and getting pinched between artillery and mortars. That being said awesome vid love the content.

That being said most of his casualties would be avoided if he stayed with the unit instead of "sending it" onwards only to keep sending units, he returns to the front when all units have been sent on their way into the same death trap as the first.
This was very painful to watch as it is such a real thing for Americans and Japanese. In the actual battle we lost in one day 2x as many as 911 and an additional 20,000 injured.
